There was always a queue for the bathroom but the hostel staff and owners were lovely. Hostel does charge you though if you hang around the hostel once yoú've checked out!

beautiful old building with many beds but not enough toilet or showers for everyone. Big queues each morning.

only 2 showers, not enough given the size of the hostel. showers cleaned at unusual times eg between 8 and 10 in the morning

I originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 10... Palenque is one of the best hostels I\'ve stayed in, with a welcoming and friendly family atmosphere that is great for meeting people as well as for sharing home-cooked meals and the best asado I\'ve had in South America so far! It can get a little noisy at night as the night staff often sit up watching tv, but that would be my only complaint - I felt really at home here and would definitely return if I came back to Cordoba.

This is the best hostel I have ever been to. Not only was the staff so nice and helpful, but it was a very cute and clean place. It feels just like home. Whether you want to watch some tv/movie, just on the computers, or hang out on the patio.. you are free to move around as you please. If I am back in Cordoba without a place to stay.. I will definitely be back at Palenque! I DEFINITELY recommend this hostel!
