We were in three persons and stayed in a room what seemed like a staff place, where people live there. Then, wasn't like a hostel room. There were many things on the floor, dirty clothes and shoes what make the room smells bad, there was a bed covered by clothes and things, unsafety shaking beds with no stairs, a completely mess. We just felt like were in a someone room as a favor. That's not good! I think I could have a different opinion if I stayed in a real hostel room as I paid for.

I wouldn't say it's the best hostel I've ever been, far from that. But it's ok, good location, fair prices, nice staff. They don't have breakfast, but they have fruits, coffee and biscuits all day. There's a lack of a common area and honestly, bathrooms could be cleaner.

Palermo ArtHostel provides good bedrooms, ample, clean, well organized kitchens and a fantastic terrace. There was working wifi, if at times a little slow, and computers, although a little sticky. My biggest criticisms are that the bathrooms are dimly lit, and that besides the hammocks on the terrace there were no comfortable seats to lounge around in. The hostel provides a great relaxing environment, with plenty of commun spaces to hang out in, but no sofas or comfortable chairs to sit in.

We were very disappointed when we arrived here. Travelling together with my wife for 4 days, we were camping, and expected to find a nice place to sleep in montevideu. But when we arrived, the hostel was a bit dirty, the location is not so good, and the mattress was very very bad. The staff is helpful, but not in the first contact. The hostel have potencial, but it was a bit "lazier".

It is a nice place to stay in montevideo close to the beach. They have a nice terrasse on the roof. The breakfast is not included, but there is coffee and fruits. W ad a private room with a balcony, which was great.

We've only been there 1 night. Everyone was very friendly, and the staff very helpfull. The only thing I would like to suggest is accepting credit card. I was told by phone I could pay the night with my credit card, and when I arrived they said they said I had to pay cash.

Nice big hostel. We were there during the off season for Montevideo so it was very quiet and served us very well. I imagine this hostel is very fun when everyone is there and not at the beach in Rocha. The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the terrace on the roof is cool. Gracias Anita, Bruna y Luis!
