It's a great hostel regardless of the constant noise that steals your sleep. No one sleeps there and the noise is around the clock. The bathrooms are average but the location makes up for that.

Palermo house was awesome. The staff is super helpful and it was always a good time. In fact, we had a parilla (argentine bbq) with like 10 of other people staying in the hostel. The place is absolutely incredible.

Palermo House is very well located in BsAs. Palermo is one of the most beautiful neighborhood, full of stores and nearby subtes and some parks. But, this hostel have a big problem: cleaning. Me and my boyfriend tried to stay in a private ensuite. We made the reservations of an ensuite, but minutes later they told us that it was unavailable, so we got a room with no bathroom. The community bathrooms were disgusting. And weren't cleaned regularly. The hostel is in an old and not preserved place.

JUST STAY FAR FROM THIS PLACE! That's not an Hostel.. look like a dirty, noisy swatted house. When i travel i love save the money, so I been in a lot of cheap places, but the Palermo House was the worst ever. I had a private room, in my room everything was broken: the wardrobe, shelves, electrical socket open with exposed wires next to a metal shelf... the bed completely broken basically I was sleeping in an hole.. ops, excuse me, sleep was just a far memories because it's impossible sleep there

The staff and the vibe at Palermo house was great, but the rooms, bathrooms and generally cleanliness of the place is pretty low.

Not the best place I've ever been, but not the worst either. Location is pretty good, toilets, showers and kitchen are in a rather poor condition and not very clean. Two electric hotplates for 40+ people is just useless. Not a real party-place either. The staff therefore was very friendly and helpful and clearly improved my stay in Buenos Aires. All in all it was good enough for the 4 days I stayed, but not for any longer.

This hostel is in the best part of BA if you are looking for nightlife. The money you save on taxis and the pain you save not having to get buses or the subway makes up for any downsides this hostel has. The bathrooms are not that bad, rooms are good however the kitchen struggles. I would however definatley stay their again.

Nice hostel with a cool vibe. Beers a bi overprices and can't bring in your own booze, but they have a great BBQ area if you want to make your own Assado. Cooking facilities require patience but there is a good supermarket near by. Good venue to access many cool bars and clubs, especially a cheap one just across the road. We had a great time even iof their pricing was slightly to the discretion of whomever was on duty that day.

The hostel is very cheap and the rooms are clean, large and enjoyable. Houses the best staff in Buenos Aires, especially Denise and Tiago (Denise may even sing a song about a bird to you if she likes you and you're nice). Brilliant location and near all the bars, supermarkets and sites you need. Subte accesses all of the city. The hostel is addictive, recommend staying here if you're paying a visit to BA!

There was not even soap. People were using drugs all the time and there were people, who did not had a room in Palermo House, coming in easily .

Palermo House is the only place to stay if you want to get straight to the heart of Palermo Soho, with its cool restaurant scene and buzzing nightlife. Like a microcosm of the neighbourhood itself, the hostel`s graffiti covered walls and huge communal area provide the perfect environment to dive straight into BA`s thrilling party scene. If you prefer the quiet life, then Palermo House might not be for you, but those of more social nature will be able to have fun every night of the week.

not so clean, but very special location in the positive sense. Try out the upper room with sight over the city! Also a bit noisy. But great atmosphere.

This was the dirtiest hostel I have stayed at. All showers and bathrooms smelled horribly. And there was no air conditioning eventhough it said in the add at hostelworld.com!!! This was a big minus!

This was easily the worst hostel you will ever stay in and I am not fussy. It is so dirty. We were there for 2 nights and proberly caught more disease in the shower then I got clean. The rooms were very hot, no window and no fan just a big door open to the loud hall way. The kitchen is also very dirty. safer to eat out!! There seemed to be alot of people paying for a few nights and leaving after 1.

Of all the hostels i've stayed in during my last six months in South America this was by far one of the dirtiest. The bathrooms are nasty beyond words and the staff was very unhelpful and unable to find my reservation or even properly buzz me out of the hostel.
