Great staff and good location. The breakfast was always two eggs and two pieces of toast, but at least it was free :)

Room is basic with everything you need. The guy working the front desk is focused on commission, though. If you don't arrange a driver through him he will not be helpful and will tell you they are out of maps. We purchased minivan tickets to Bangkok through him. He told us $22 USD per ticket. We later found out tickets were only $12. Absolutely ridiculous. Rent/buy services from a travel agent instead.

Reservation was efficient and tuk tuk pick up was as scheduled. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, just far enough for it to be quiet, but close enough to the markets and Pub Street. It was a great experience staying here.

As it's a guesthouse there weren't any other travellers there, but mad monkey is 5mins away so we just went to the pool and met people there. Breakfast is really good.

Had a great stay at Palm Garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Mr Tum, our tuk-tuk driver, was great. The hostel is close to town, but in a quiet end of the street and the palm garden was a nice place to sit and relax. Easy access to the places you need to get to.
