This hostel was nothing special. It had a very 'boarding school' feel, and seemed to cater to groups of teenagers. It was far too expensive for what was offered, and the bed was horribly uncomfortable and small. The rooms were cramped, very bright (because you cannot turn the lights off in the hall,) loud and hot. The internet situation needs to be amended immediately. It is frustrating, slow and annoying to connect. The staff were beyond rude. The breakfast was the lone bright spot.

Location: It is not very easy to find this hostel, but also not impossible. Conections to the center are easy; By bus directly to Oxford Street or not so far from the tube, in the Jubelee line - it takes about 20 minutes to the center. Staff is helpful, although there was one lady that was speaking not very clearly. Apart from her it was really good. Rooms are indeed small, but fair enough. Clean. Breakfast is very good for a Hostel. I would stay there again.

It's a bit far from city center. It charges an extra 1 pound if you pay by using credit card. (They should let you know before paying). Can't get sleep because someone's snoring.

I had a good stay. The staff was helpful the place was clean. There's wifi, laundry, locker storage. Location was a bit far from the center of London but the area was nice and quite. There's food and stores a few blocks away. There's a bus stop right in from which can take you to Oxford Circus i believe, and there's the underground station not too far away.

I loved the stay in your hotel. The staff was wonderful, the place was good. Breakfast was really good. When I checked in there were there two girls in the reception who were so helpful and courteous.. I am sorry I didn't check their names. One of this girl was like working 24 hours, coz whenever I was down at the reception I saw her and I did mention about that to her..Loved the stay your hostel hotel is marvelous. One thing I actually didn't get hot water, I was in room 401 bed 12 and 13.

This was a great Place! It was really easy to get to from heathrow and then it was a reasonable walk from the station. I had a room to myself for the most part. Very comfortable bunk beds and key card activated locker that was big enough to fit my backpacking bag. If u have luggage, they have a locked room downstairs for that also. There is a laundry facility, wifi in the lobby for free and an awesome breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend staying here!

Loved my stay. Thank you very much. Perhaps increasing the price slightly and offering a more nutritious breakfast would be in keeping with the general atmosphere of the hostel. Apart from this, full marks!

Located at about 9 metro stops from the city, Hill spring looked like an old mental hospital that was refurbished. The wifi did not ever work, and the feel of the place was eerie all together. Broken showers, blood on the sheets, noise blasting till 2am, paper tn walls, difficult to see from the street. The helpfulness of the staff varied from the people on staff. While i tried to book a flight online and over 30 min heard about 5 guests complain about their terrible experiences.

Our room smelled like feet and had mold. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. There was no wifi in the rooms. All of these things would have been excused, however, there was a group of students staying at the hostel and they were up at all hours of the night yelling, chanting, and running up and down the halls. It was midnight on a weeknight, so I addressed my concerns with reception and they weren't very friendly or sympathetic of my concerns. I would not recommend this hostel.

The facilities were very well planned and organized - spacious lockers, comfortable beds that afforded privacy, etc. The breakfast and internet were a bonus. The staff was helpful and friendly. Great place to stay!

If you want a relax and calm hostel, it;s the right place. But if you are looking for partying, it is a little too quiet to go there. I loved the rooms and everything was clean, but my only negative point was that it was not the atmosphere I was looking for.

I only stayed there one night, but I wish I had been there for a few more! While I wasn't too fond of the part of town it was located, the hostel itself was clean and the staff were very efficient. I really liked having an all-night light on, but having a curtain! Made getting in late and getting up early very easy.

It was a very nice facility that was very safe and clean. The atmosphere was pretty good and the location was decent. The staff could have been a bit more helpful and friendly with tips about the city and getting around and such but overall it was a good stay.

Pros: close to underground station, clean, safe, friendly, helpful staff Cons: self-catering kitchen is not very well stocked and had to interrupt the staff in the main kitchen to ask for equipment. Overall would stay again and recommend to friends.

A great hostel with great rooms, staff, and facilities. The one downside to it is its location - about 10 minutes walk to a tube station and a 20 minute tube ride to city centre. Even so, it's still worth the transportation issue to stay here.

Overall I and my family were very satisfied. The only blemish to mention was using the directions from the hostel world website I called for a taxi. Taxi cost was 16 Pounds. According to information provided by hostel world the taxi should have cost 7 Pounds.
