The hostel has great connections, the subway is close and there is a straight bus (52) to eurolines coach station. Service at the reception was excellent and they were always happy to help us. Breakfast was good. Beds and showers etc good. We never had to que either at the reception or to showers, toilets. Stayed in 4bed mixed dorm. Toilets and showers were in the corridor and were clean. Only I wish there had been more hooks to hang ur things during the shower.

We had one of the most expensive room and is was situated next to the toilets (restrooms) and the elevator. The whole night until 3 o'clock in the morning we heard the hand dryer and the elevator. We couldn't sleep. Also our toilet was so old that we had to pump the water to get away all the paper etc. Horrible. The international breakfast was a joke. Toast, butter and jam, nothing else. No cheese or something else to put on the toast.

A little far from the main tourist sites but not too bad by metro. Stayed in 3 hostels in London over the course of a week and this one was by far the best.

I stayed in a 14 bed female dorm and the bunks had curtains for privacy and reading lights, the showers were big and clean, the couches in the lounge area were comfortable and computers were available without being charged out the arse. It was all the nice little things that make you feel better when you're travelling. The bar wasn't very lively and it wasn't a really social place but I would stay again.

A very good hostel. Some minor improvements could be made in order to improve the quality further, such as: installing a better shower head (pressure through the current ones is low), placing a small rack for soap/shampoo/... in the shower. The room was clean and large enough. There was also enough space to store luggage.

Everything is good but it takes 9-minutes walk from underground station. PS: I love the classical British house.

I was travelling with my three teenage daughters and Palmers Lodge was a great place for us. The room was clean and comfortable and there were plenty of spaces and facilities for us to relax in. It felt safe.

The Hostel itself was quite nice, but it was a little bit further from the city center than a I realized. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood, though, so if you want peace and quiet away from the city, then perhaps that's not a bad thing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I thought this hostel was just okay. It wasn't bad at all, but a bit pricey for what I got.

No complaints whatsover! We were received very warmly, had good food, slept like babies and enjoyed the clean shared bathrooms. The location was really fine as well, nice, quiet, safe and just under 10 min walking to the tube station.

THE BEST HOSTEL in LONDON ! I have been travelling a lot over the world, I can say. A very nice free breakfast, free linen, a guest kitchen, good connection of free Wi-Fi internet, very clean comfortable bed, huge dinning area and parking lot, nice backyard & front area with many tall trees. I am feeling the owner is always trying to give the best service for whole guests. Some of guests have only to try to have proper manners & consideration not to disturb other guests in the dorms.
