Palmers was a nice little place in central Zagreb, barely 300m from the train station and a supermarket. The staff were great and very helpful. Beds were comfortable and warm, although the pillows were a little lumpy. Definitely good value for money.

We just spent the 2012 new year's eve in zagreb and it was awesome, also thanks to the palmers lodge hostel! The place is new and very clean, with a nice and friendly atmosphere, only 10 minutes from the city center if walking (you can also take a cab since it's so cheap). The best aspect of this hostel is the staff: they're very kind and friendly, and very helpful in providing good advices on how to visit Zagreb, which places to go, good restaurants, clubs to go partying, etc...recommended!!

They let me celebrate New Year's Eve with them. They were great to get me bottom bunk after a really long day. They helped me pick good places to eat and gave good directions.

It was a great experience for me. The hostel is clean and the staff is very friendly, not mentioning the beautiful receptionist. You can't talk for a moment when you first saw her.
