Stayed here 8 months before and I'm sad to say it has gone down hill a bit since then. However, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the lounge area is really nice, a litre of beer at the hostel isn't too much more than the shops either. The breakfast was pretty bad though- you had to make the milk for your cereal with powdered milk which tastes pretty bad. I think in busier periods it was/will be a lot better as it was a really great hostel before, it was just a bit dead this time!

It\'s the worst hostel I\'ve ever stayed at!! Yelling in the night is fine, but when the staff yells at 7 am. in the morning - and for hours, I get pissed of!!

I thought this place was great! So cheap considering everything it offered, and the staff were really helpful. The breakfast was good too, soft bread and milk that was actually cold!

The ambient could be good but it's all decadent: bath to repair, kitchen with pottery, room without windows.

It is a warm place, easy to gather and meet people. The infrastructure is weak and a kind far, but there is a metro in front of the dor. The staff is so helpful.

Clean and comfortable with mostly English speaking staff. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and always asked how we were doing and if they could help. The clientele is very quiet and it is definitely not a party hostel, so don't stay here if you are looking for that. It's very affordable compared to other hostels in BA, and even though it's not in one of the "cool" barrios, there is a subway stop directly in front of the hostel and only 4 stops from San Telmo's main plaza.
