The host of the hostel was a wonderful human being who went beyond his call of duty to help me out. My bus from Kathmandu did arrive at Pakhara town centre until 0100 in the morning but he stayed up until I arrived 30 mins later. The location is beyond this world with this immense view of gorgeous sunrise and Himalayas. Situated near the top of Sarankot, you can see falcons sharing the sky with hundreds of paragliders. Unfortunately the hostels is a little far from the town centre.
We had a great stay at the Panoramic View Guest House. The family is great, the food is wonderful, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Only downfall is- it is quite a hike to get to. It takes at least a half hour or more by taxi from Pokhara town, and then you have to hike up about 1 km to get to the guesthouse. Great if you just want to relax for a day or two and great location to see the Sunrise on Sarangkot! Just a ten minute walk up the hill in the morning!
I had great time in this guest house. Thank you for your hospitality.

I arrived at 8pm at night with the taxi dropping me off on a dirt road only to be greeted by the owner of the guesthouse because he knew I was supposed to arrive, but unsure of the time. The guesthouse was pretty empty only because of the location; it wasnt very well visible on the road compared to the other GHs. The internet was fairly fast, the rooms were clean, showers were hot, and the view of Lakeside/Pokhara was beautiful. Owners were friendly & welcoming. Would definitely stay again!!!
