Great value, great atmosphere and Chris is a very hospitable English speaking owner/manager and will happily point you in the right directlon about pretty much anything going on in the town. The Tubeing is v. low key now - would recommend the caving, kyaking and hot air balloon (the latter Chris can book for you at a v. reasonable $78. The rooms are basic but functional and clean. - lumpy pillows and hot water kept tripping out but overall - would def recommend

Pan's Place is the perfect hostel. Great locaton with good rooms, you definitely get your moneys worth. Its run by a really friendly bloke called Chris that knows everything about Vang Vieng and helped me when I got sick. There are computers and free wifi as well as having its own cafe/restaurant to get food and drinks from. Highly recommend!

We LOVED Pan's Place! Awesome staff - Chris is so helpful and friendly. Great breakfast menu too! The rooms were absolutly adorable and fantastic value for money. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night and could have easily stayed 10 more! The bamboo chalets make you feel as if you are having a real 'Laos expereince' and great value for money. There is also secruity floating around from 6pm-6am which makes you feel super safe. Highy reccomend staying here!!

Good Value for the money! Room and bathroom were clean and location great. Only the walls are very thin and we had a room in behind a chillout area where people sat until 3am in the morning and talked so we were not able to sleep well. But that is dependent on the people who are there with you. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Pans Place was perfect accomodation for our stay in vang vieng. Not only are the rooms clean and comfortable but they are also situated in a good area of the town. Chris and the staff are lovely, always happy to help out and provide assistance with anything. Definately would come back and in fact our 2 night stay turned into a 8 night stay!

Does exactly what it says in it's description: simple, value for money rooms. Stayed in a double room with bathroom. No problems. Nice breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Just beyond the busier area of Vang Vieng but still just a 5 minute walk to the main strip. Free drinking water is very handy and a nice touch. Hard to beat for the price.

Great cheap place. Facilities are in line with the price you pay. Location slightly off the main street but still within walking distance.

Good hostel. The beds are terrible but it's in a good location and it's quiet and safe. The rooms are basic but it's super cheap. You get what you pay for.

Chris the host said he hadn't got my booking from HW but checked again and found it. I was pleased with the room and pleased with everything about the place. Excellent value and location.
