We loved this place! It was clean, modern, quiet rooms, a good common area to socialize in, and Papa Germano is SUCH a wonderful man! If you stay here, you will not be disappointed!!

This really is a hotel not a hostel. It was a WONDERFUL change! The beat hostel I have ever been in. The staff was really amazing as well. The only down side (and it is minor) is that it is in an area with a LOT of other hotels. It is a good sobering walk back from the center of town though. Only about 20-30 minutes. Not bad at all.

The hostel was large and clean. The facilities were really ample, and Mr. Germano was really personable. Though the 3 bed room was small, it came with an in-room sink, and it was clean. The hostel was in a great location, right by the train station, which was a great spot to catch a lot of the buses running throughout Rome.

Actually it is a hotel, not a hostel. I think it is too expensive (no breakfast). Near to the train station.

Enjoyed our stay at this location. Only regret was that they did not have rooms available for us the second weekend we were in Rome after our cruise. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Rooms were good sized, very clean and they gave us unlimited access to internet which was very helpful for me. Staff was very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends who might be traveling to Rome.

Great STAFF would be nice to have a checked room for baggage.

The space is too small for USD82 hotel. I've spent that amount in Malaysaia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and even in Singapore but accommodation provided by them is far superior than Papa Germano; with free breakfast, accessible wi-fi (we were not able to access wi-fi services), and spacious room.

Loved our stay here! The staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. It's a bit of a walk to the main attractions in town, but nothing too far away.

We loved this hostel. It was more like a hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful with directions and maps. The breakfast was good and plentiful. We had hot water and decent pressure. My companions were delayed and the staff called me to keep me updated when they received an email. The only reason we did not stay longer was because there was no lift and my mother found the stairs difficult. I would be happy to stay here on my next visit to Rome.

It was a hotel, not a hostel, making it a nice break from every other hostel across Italy that I visited. Everything about this hostel was really pleasant, though!

We only stayed for one night at the end of our stay in Rome but found the hostel excellent. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and there were two full bathrooms for every four rooms. Staff were friendly and the hostel is very close to Termini. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome.

Although there seemed to be an elevator the reception did not advise us to use it so I did not use and knowing how precarious these things are in Rome. Sheets did not seem 100% fresh as there was hair inside mine. The location was not as near as I would have thought as I usually use the underground, also the bars at night are very noisy and the noise easily goes through the walls. No lockers were provided (or told to us) especially since the room was shared with others. No towels, no heating.

This is more like a hotel than a hostel. By far and away the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. Marble floors, comfortable beds, and an amazing staff. I did not even feel like shower shoes were necessary because the place was so clean.

Very nice room. Comfortable bed. Showers were good. Location to the train station was great and all the big attractions were close enough. Staff was able to offer recommendations when asked.

This hostel is more like a hotel. Very clean and nice, I'd recommend it. The shared bathrooms were individual bathrooms that you could lock, and were very clean and spacious. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly. The place was secure and clean. 5 min walk from the train station, and 10-20min walk to attractions and main parts of the city. There is internet but you have to go downstairs to get service. All in all, I'd stay here again no doubt. You get more than what you pay for.

Absolutely fantastic facility, with bonuses like prosecco and candies in the room when you arrive, and a nice free continental breakfast. It's basically hotel, and well you're paying hotel-like prices so it's what you'd expect. It's definitely safe and centrally located though...so you really can't go wrong with Papa Germano (unless you're on a tighter budget).

Really friendly staff, a calm place in a central place of Rom. Just one request: W-LAN at the dorms would be very great!
