Location great for access to Bus/Train. Supermarket and restaurants in the surrounding area.

Stayed just one night in a single room, shared bathroom as I was flying out of Rome in the morning. Bathrooms were very clean and never had any problems with availability. Though small, the room was clean and well equipped. However, noise carries quite easily in the building due to lack of any type of sound dampening (no carpet anywhere etc.) The single room was right next to the staircase too so in addition to the rumble from the adjoining rooms also had some noise of the staircase.

Very clean and well located place. We stayed for one night and shared a 4-bed room, it was really comfortable (no bunks) and it had a small sink. There were no lockers though.

This was my second visit and it was even better. A great place to rest your head. Thanks again to the wonderful staff and to Claudio in particular. His suggestions for what to see and how were perfect.

The staff were really helpful and lovely! The rooms were clean and had great storage space. If I had to pick a negative, it would be that the WIFI didn't work in our room, only the foyer. But apart from that it was great!!

Papa Germano was quiet, clean and more so resembled a hotel than hostel. Claudio at the reception was a gracious host. Location next to Termini was convenient upon arrival and departure but a walk to anywhere else in the city.

Its actually a hotel with hostel beds. Really comfortable stay there.

I really liked the vibe of this hostel. It was smaller and you felt like you were one of very few at the hostel. The 4 person dorms, with single beds, rather than bunk beds gave it a hotel feel. The first 2 nights it was just me and my friend! By far the best hostel I've stayed at. Also, it is so close to Termini, but also close to many of the Rome "attractions" 15 min walk to Trevi, 35 min to the Coliseum. A great place to stay in Rome!

Great place at termini, get used to the public transport to save you lots of time. No complaints at all with Papa Germano, Italian people were so pleasant.

My fiancé and I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. It was a good price and very clean! Close to the Rome Termini train station.

Very good hostel but a bit expensive. Good view of Siena, especially in the evening.

It was value for money: nothing special but location

Really enjoyed my stay here. The hostel was very clean, the rooms were spacious by hostel standards, the bathrooms were spotless and as I left early-ish I never had any issue with waiting for a bathroom, but the bathrooms were two between 3-4 rooms so should be sufficient. There was a locked door between 2-3 rooms and the main stairwell and which meant the hostel felt very safe. For €5 extra, the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Excellent location 15-20 mins walk from all attractions

Staff were kind and helpful; rooms were clean and cleaned daily; bathrooms nice with hot water; located just a few minutes' walk from Termini train and metro station; in an area full of hotels so it felt secure and safe, even at night.

It is more like a hotel than a hostel. We checked in with no problems. The staff was helpful. Did their job. We saw three different people at the desk during the two nights we were there. We stayed in an en-suite room. It was clean and comfortable enough. The location is great. It is very close to Termini, yet is in a quiet street. If you are looking for a clean bed and a good night's sleep, this is it. If you want to meet other travelers. Seek elsewhere.
