the location is exellent, staff very helpfull, good value for money
A familiar hostel with a real kitchen, which is a good afford in this overpriced village. But there might be hostals with a better atmosphere. The rooms with sheared bathrooms might get really hot as they are just wood huts without any ventilation.
The staff was amazing. They helped us book tours and were not pushy about it. They also have us detailed directions on the cheapest way to go to Lima from Paracas.
The owner in the workplace ,Alberto is very well spoken in English, he's extremely knowlegible about Peru. He also is very helpful to any and all who ask for help. I would highly recommend this hostel to everyone...
Nice, rustic beach bungalo feel. The owner was very friendly and gave us a good overview of what was in the town and where to eat. The room we stayed in was very basic, but it's not like we spent much time in there anyways. Good hostel for a night in Paracas.
Very pleasant stay, nothing to argue about! Very friendly staff, took care of everything and arranged all the tours for a cheap price. I would recommend this hostel to everybody visiting Paracas!
Great place to stay. Highly recomended. Alberto is awesome and his information 100% useful. Gracias.
Staff was really nice! Facilities although are not that good...
The man that runs this place couldn't be more helpful and the tours were well priced and organised. The main problem we had was the thin walls in the wooden cabins meaning that the incredibly loud events at the museum next door and the incredibly loud Australian students nextdoor who were up talking nonsense at 6am meant that I didn't sleep very well although I'm usually a heavy sleeper. Unfortunately the shower was also freezing the one time I used it. A shame as the man was so friendly.
Alberto is a really nice owner, he helped me a lot, thank you so much !!!
Alberto was a lovely host, who speaks good English, shared all information about the village. He advised other agencies, but also told us the trips he can book for us. At the end we went for 2 trips through this hostel. The Ballestas island trip is good with dolphins, seals, penguins, birds. Reserve park less interesting. The accomodation is basic with simple kitchen, 2 shared hot showers and 3 toilets, but hey it's enough and good value for money. I can recommend it to any backpacker.
We stayed here only 1 night to do the Islas Ballestas before moving onwards to Huacachina. I could have stayed here longer because our room was very clean and comfortable and we had an en suite private bathroom. The location was great because we were just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. The hostel arranged our tour of the Islas Ballestas which was very helpful.
Alberto the owner was excellent. Spoke English and overall very friendly and helpful. We booked tours through him and everything was wonderful. Courtyard area was very nice. Private bathroom was very roomy. no problem with hot water.
Alberto is a wonderful helpful and welcoming host. Prices of his tours are better than on the road. It is the places where all the backpackers are. Nice, cosy and tranquillo. Alberto is worth to get to know. He is just so friendly. But next to it opened also a nice hostel with cute huts and there you pay the half price. I couldn't imagine-even still cheaper! Have a nice stay where ever you will stay in this nice little town of paracas.
