Excellent option in paracas. Owners could not be more helpful. They can organise any tours, but aren't pushy at all. Only slight negative is that anyone could walk in and there are no locks join the doors and no lockers

The hostel is great! It´s the best starting point to visit the islands and the national reserve. The owner is very helpful and organizes tours.

This hostel was in a great location and provided exactly what we needed for a day in Paracas to visit the Ballestas islands. The hostel owner Alberto was super helpful and everything was nice and clean.

The owner of this place is a champion and makes you feel very welcome and comfortable straight away. He explains and helps with everything. The place is very clean and has a good enough kitchen for most people. I highly recommend this hostel, not for a party though. Thanks for everything

Alberto is a very gracious and helpful host. We stayed in both a private ensuite and a private shared room, and we found the extra price for the ensuite is well worth it because those rooms are much cooler in the very hot afternoon, and much, much quieter at night. My only real complaint is that the internet wasn't very strong - half the time I could hardly get it working (my wife had less problems on her computer). The location is decent, beach is awesome, kitchen is okay. I'd recommend it.

Excellent location. Very enthusiastic manager, who will help you with tours (we used a different company) and answer whatever questions you may have. The rooms were incredibly hot in the afternoon, but we weren't around much anyway, and there is plenty of shaded public areas to lounge around. The kitchen looked great as well.

Nice location, close to the beach and to tour operators for your trip to ballestas Islands. Staf is very friendly and helpfull. Allowed me to stay to wait for my bus to Ica, later in the afternoon. Internetconnection was ok, but sometimes stopped. it had to do with the cell reception, so I was told. Dorm smelled, bed was little too soft, but ok for 1 night

It's ok. But having no locks on dorm doors and no lockers either is useless. Witnessing a member of staff simply rearranging a used bed for a new guest to use and not even changing the sheets made me angry. If you do one thing for backpackers at least give them a clean bed.

Dear customer: It would have been better than, instead of writing this kind of review, you should have told us what you saw, so immediately we could have reprehended our worker. We always change sheets for new guests. I think that this should have been the right way of doing it. Best regards. Alberto Velarde Grau - Manager

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were fine. I wouldn`t recommend staying too long in Paracas since there is not much to do except for the ballestas island and national park tour.

my professional camera and ipad 4 were stolen while i was paying the room fee within 5 minutes by two local men. and there is no video in the hostel. so the policeman cannot help me. I know all these things happen due to my careless. But the manager of the hostel told us many times that the security in paracas is very well. So please omit such kind of words. anyway, we should take care of our belongings.

Dear customer: You told us that you left your camera and ipad on top of the table where your other 3 friends were sitting waiting for you. I can´t understand how none of them saw anyone carrying your belongings. Paracas is really a safe place. I am very sorry about what happened to you, but if you are careless that is not a problem of security in Paracas. Best regards Alberto Velarde Grau Manager

This is a fun social place for people to have a good time and meet others. The rooms have thin walls, as they are like cabins so not great for getting an early night, however I did really enjoy staying here. The owner tells you all about the area when you arrive and is a good source of knowledge for transport and tours information etc. The Wifi is good but there is only one hot shower for the shared rooms, so sometimes you have to queue.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging trips. Security is non-existent; I stayed in a 4 bed dorm, there was no lock on the door and no lockers for storing valuables. Kitchen was not very well equipped.

Hello : You were staying in a dorm, and there is a lock in it. As people go in and out all day long, some leave the door open, and that is not a problem of security. We have some lockers, and I´m sure you saw them in front of the toilettes. When you arrived I told you that if you had some valuables we could keep them in our room, as other guests give them to us. I told you that our rooms are safe, and I´m sure you had no security problems. Please let us know what did you missed in our kitchen. Best regards Alberto Velarde Grau Manager
