If you go to Pucon, you should definitely stay in Paradise. Great staff, great kitchen, fresh bread baked every day, and fun laid back atmosphere. They will help you organize all the outdoor activities for a good price!

Other than being a bit far from the bus stations if you are carrying heavy gear, this place was awesome. I moved here from a busier place in low season and it was found it quieter. Yes, this hostel is party central in high season, so don't come here if you can't keep up! Dave and Dan are awesome guys and know their way around Pucón. Be warned, this is Pucón's Hotel California. You won't be able to leave. I ended up staying for 12 days! Thanks guys!

Dave (the owner) is great at sorting out tours...and booze in general. I even got an upgrade. The hostel is however a little grubby. You'll either love it it hate it!

good location, lots of trips available to organise through the hostel, has the cutest 2 dogs, friendly atmosphere, but felt the trip to the hot springs was very over priced.

I had a great few days stay here. Its a nice hostel in a good location, has good sized dorms and a nice garden to chill out in too. As a lot of others have commented though, what sets this hostel apart from others is Dave the owner and the other staff there - a really great bunch of people who will help you out with advice on stuff to do in Pucon and book pretty much any activity you want to do. Good social atmosphere with the staff and others travellers staying there too.

Great staff don't entirely make up for poor breakfast, unreliable internet and cold rooms.

I didn't warm to this place at first, but after booking an initial first night I decided to stay 2 extra nights. The place really grew on me, the people are friendly and the staff are helpful. It's walking distance to the "beach" which is beautiful. It's also got a supermarket nearby and not too far to walk to the main strip. would definitely recommend!

This was the best hostel I've been to in south America so far, it was just great! Great kitchen- fully equipped. Great wifi. And most important- great people and warm staff. The place, the facilities, and esspacially the atmosphere.

Paradise Pucon was an awesome place to stay, it was close to the beach and shops. The hostel itself is an older style house and its close quarters but i thought it made for a great atmosphere. Dave and Daniel were always on hand to answer any questions or were just down for a good old chat. There's a great BBQ area outside where Dave helped us prepare some local beef to feast upon. Our 5 nights stay in Pucon was made all the more memorable by staying at Paradise Pucon.

This is very much a party hostel - not a place you go if you want to sleep. Some of the rooms are extremely cramped and with no lockers. The kitchen is small, old and messy and there is little communal space. If you are 19 years old, it will probably be a great place to stay, but if you prefer to enjoy the day and sleep at night - do not go!

If you're looking for an all night party then this could potentially be the place for you. We arrived having made a booking at the hostel, our room was not ready on check in (in fact they had to clear out a storage room as they had not taken our booking properly). They then were so distracted getting ready for the party that night they didn't deal with our booking to climb the volcano the next day - which it turned they knew we would not be able to do due to the weather. The party ended at 6am!

it took us some time to get familiar due to the very anglo-american atmosphere. But forced by the flexibility and care of Dave (e.g. preparing us porridge for breakfast at 6 am and barbecue with curanto after the vulcano tour) we actually had a very nice stay in this special hostel.

Paradise Pucon was great as usual. Really more like visiting a friend's house than staying at a hostel.

Extremely chilled out. Very surfer dude kinda vibe going on. Lovely garden to hang out in. Fires at night to sit around. Grt bbq after your volcano climb. Owner is good guy. Fantastic puppy. All in all a very cool place but dorm was tad noisey.

I have stayed at several different hostels and this is hands down THE BEST ONE! First, the staff is amazing!! Dave is so helpful and goes out of his way to make sure that your time in the hostel and Pucon is unforgettable. There is a list of activities to do in Pucon , so it's very easy to plan activities. Also, the beds are SUPER WARM and COMFORTABLE! On top of that, the people I met there were very friendly and welcoming. You really do feel at home here!

The hostel was brilliant. Dave, the owner, was a seriously good guy, happy to help out or have a drink. We did the tour up the volcano with Pucon and it was brilliant. Could not recommend anywhere better to stay in Pucon, could not say I have stayed anywhere better in Chile either.
