The owner did not speak any english but got her grandaughter on the phone to help. The property is quite far from the centre, which is difficult to find. The lady that runs this hostel doesnt speak english but she is very good at pointing and making herself understood. !!!A thief stole one of our cameras and a wallet in the night at this hostel so be aware!!!. We had left the window open and both objects in eye sight so it was an easy steal. The lady that runs this hostel also opens windows when your away so this might be a problem. There are no places to lock stuff in but its close to beaches and its very nice and quite charming. The family that owns it were very helpful and friendly. The apartment was great - even had a clothes washing machine which was very handy. The location is okay. Not close to the beach (30 minute walking) and not close to city centre, but also not too far from either if you take the bus.The family that owns it were very helpful and friendly. A great base if you want to explore Pula on foot - located halfway between the city center and the beaches with a supermarket nearby. The apartments are small, self contained and modern. The family that owns and runs them live on the floors above and are friendly and helpful.
