We ended up staying at Parami for 1 week! We loved that it was tucked away but not too far from everything. The staff was amazing and helped us book everything we needed and have us great recommendations.

Very nice place! A little bit away from the old town, but just 15 min walking. In the same street of the hostel you can find art galleries and nice restaurants just by the river. The owner and staff are very nice and helpfull with everything!

Cheers to the staff who were very friendly and helpful with organizing trips and tours and giving directions. It is a bit of a walk to the old city, but not too far, and it is a lot quieter while still only a 10 minute walk from the night markets. Although not geared towards being a social guest house, the hammocks and outdoor dining table are a nice touch. The room was clean and the aircon worked great in our room. Good fair price

Great place in Chiang Mai just outside of the walled city. A short walk to town, clean place, great people working there. It was very nice for Songkran - very close but just far enough from the craziness.

Good hostel, slightly out of the way of most of chaing Mai but gives you a chance to explore some more of the city. It takes a good 15 mins to walk into the main part (night bizarre area). The rooms are pretty clean with comfortable beds and a fan. The owner was a very helpful Swiss guy who spoke perfect English among a few other languages as well. He also didn't mind us hanging about all day waiting for our coach in the evening. Use of hammocks in a peaceful back garden. Good place to stay!

We stayed in a standard double room at the Parami Guesthouse. We loved having to walk through all the plants and over the pond to get to our room. The guy set up transportation for us to the Tiger Kingdom, Snake house, and Insect Zoo. He also set us up with the elephant training day. Breakfast not included, but the food was good. We usually had toast w/ butter and strawberry jam. The road was horrible to walk on - no pedestrian room! We got hit by a car first day, not badly.

Nice little hostel. Helpful staff and decent location near the river. Would probably stay there again if in Chiang Mai.

Our host, roger was very helpful and friendly. The place was an oasis of calm against the busy street outside. Location was very convenient to the night market and right across the bridge was the main town.

The hostel is good, a bit out of the old city, but if u are already thinking about renting a motocycle there is not problem! The double room ensuite is very nice and clean, bed very comfortable too! I won't reccomend breakfast there, it's nothing special and the espresso was horrible! The owner was nice, he kept our staff till late evening when we already checked out, wasn't really helpful when I was trying to rent motocycle and they couldnt understand english even though he speaks Thai, weird

We found this hostel to be extremely helpful with booking trips, tours and information. We were given discounts with tours which was nice. The owner was fluent in English and Thai which made it much easier when booking things up. All staff were friendly and welcoming and created a nice atmosphere. Thank you

Right next to the river, very calm and relaxed. Rooms are clean and the beds are excellent. Staff is very friendly and helps you book lots of activities. Breakfast is good too. Walking downtown takes you about 10 minutes. This guesthouse is one of the best I've stayed in so far and is way better than the noisy ones downtown (tired them too). Thanks for the nice time.

Had a fabulous 4 night stay here, had both air con and fan rooms and all were comfy and clean. The manager and receptionist couldn't have helped us anymore...they provided tips of what to do in Chiang Mai but not pushy about booking anything! We booked with them though as prices were the same elsewhere. They also helped us book our transport to Pai and the hostel there too! The location is great for China Town and the Night Bizzare but the old town is a 25 min walk. Will certainly stay again.

A very good place to stay in Chiang Mai. It is a little bit outside the center but very accessible by walking. The owner is extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was big and clean, the bathroom too. We had breakfast there twice and it was very good. They also have a very helpful booking service at the hostel, and provide lots of information on the city of Chiang Mai. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to my friends and family !

We loved the character of the hotel and Roger was very helpful. We liked that there were comfortable spaces to go and sit to eat, relax and use the wifi.

The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable although my girlfriend thought the opposite. They have hard mattresses in Thailand. Noise from guests was a little annoying, especially as some toilets were basically right next to our heads so could hear people weeing (ewww). Luckily the Americans left after a couple of days and the noise vol dropped! Location was quite a 30min walk to the town although the strEet hostel on is really nice. Lots of cute shops and cafes. We really liked it here!

We loved it here. Roger (the owner) was amazing. He was fantastic at advising and booking tours at competitive rates. The hostel was really lovely, with delicious breakfast. Far enough from town to be quiet but not too far to walk. Lovely cafes, restaurants and shops close by. Felt very safe there. After getting to know chiang mai we now know we wouldn't stay anywhere else!
