This hostel is very cosy and straight at the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing!! Only 10 minutes walk to center and 15 minutes to bus station. I definetly recommend this place!

We liked the hostel a lot! Very friendly staff, location just next to the beach and 5 minutes from historic center. The only disadvantage is one bathroom for 12 people but they're building a new one. The best part is breakfast! Big choice of food (not only bread with marmolade!) and a view on the beach.

Great hostel and friendly staff. Gus put on an Argentinian style BBQ when we were there and it was amazing! So much meat and salad. Hostel is in a great location, 5 minute walk from the old town and right across the road from the beach. We stayed in low season (April) and the weather was perfect! The hostel also sells the cheapest beer in Paraty. Six bed dorm with ensuite was good and always clean. Will tell my friends about this place!

The staff are fantastic & make you feel right at home. What better way to sit and eat your (free) breakfast than in front of the beach. We came in mind to stay a few nights, but ended up staying 7. There were many activities nearby to entertain ourselves during the day, then most nights we spent in the hostel playing games, listening to music & just having a lovely time. We didn't want to leave. We highly recommend this hostel to anyone who likes a chilled out, sociable, fun, friendly atmosphere

After 21 months of traveling This hostel is def one of the best I ever stayed in! The atmosphere is so relaxed!! You meet so many people and the location could not be better! The breakfast in the morning is amazing! So many fresh fruits! Mmm... The staff is so helpfull! Gaston, the owner, even has his own boat! The boattrip was AMAZiNG!! This is def the best hostel in Paraty for real backpackers who like to meet new people!! I also loved the way they decorate the comon space! So creative!

This hostel came highly recommended, we are a couple new to the hostelling scene so don't have much to compare to. I was impressed with the common areas, this place creates a great atmosphere through its laid back approach, friendly staff, good tunes etc. Gus' tour was amazing, highly recommended. I was a little disappointed with the bedrooms, beds and overall cleanliness of the toilets and bedrooms could be improved. That said, I'd go back because of the great staff and good location.

It was amazing staying at the Paraty Beach Hostel. The owner Gus looked after our every need! An absolute highlight was our day on his boat. He provided us with plenty of caip's and food and for such a small amount of money! The breakfast is one of the best we've had in 6 months. People should stay here!

This hostel has great charm and character, mainly because of the owner Gus and the location. The hostel has its own motorboat and Gus is an amazing host, bartender and captain!!!! He is working hard to make his hostel even better, everyday a change. He backpacked a lot himself and you def. notice this in an amazing way. I think staying here is a choice that nobody can regret..... Amazing times!!!!

The people there are awesome! It could use some air conditioning, but the price is just right! The boat trip is the best feature and is custom tailored to what you and your friends want to do. It was the best buy. The Kioske in front of the hostel has some of the best food i've ever had. I would truly recommend the place and staff!
