The staff was very helpful, but the location was just awful. 15 minute walk through a bad neighborhood to get to a Metro... then take a half hour Metro to the city... that's quite a hassle when you're carrying bags/luggage. There is also nothing to do in this area, so you really need to take that 45 minute trek to do anything.

the hostel itself was great, it's a very quaint place in a good location. The staff, though they don't speak much english, are very helpful and friendly and willing to get someone to help you. The food is wonderful and included (breakfast and dinner) which makes the stay that much more wonderful.

While it was out of the way and a 5 euro taxi ride from the nearest metro station, it was an extremely easy walk once you had been there once. The hostel is a house in a neighborhood that has been retrofitted to be a hostel with 7 bedrooms containing 4 beds apiece and about 3-4 bathrooms with an adequate number of showers/bathrooms. I would 100% recommend to a friend or stay again.

The only downside is the location. It's about an hour by metro going to the city of Paris. But for the rest, it's a very good hostel, with hospitable staff (family). The value for money is excellent (free dinner and breakfast, korean style). The wifi could be better though.

Although this hostel is quite a distance from all the popular sites it is only a good 15 minute walk to the Metro. So easy to use Metro. It is in a quiet area and feels safe. The staff are really great and so is the dinner

I know this has been said to death but wow, nothing beats a delicious, home-cooked Korean dinner (not to mention that its included in the price!). The folks were friendly, helpful, and flexible, and though the neighbourhood was far from downtown I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the short walk to the metro. Cheers, Namdam, we love you!

The stay was very enjoyable ! The room was really tidy and had everything You might need. Having both the breakfast and supper in the evening included in the price is really unique ! Brilliant atmosphere during meals, very nice staff and a pleasureable stay in general. The map E-Mailed by the Hostel staff was perfect to find Your way the first time You arrive to Paris. It's about a 10 minute walk from the last subway station, which makes the location quite acceptable. Totally recommend !

The only downside is having to rely on the met to get you home at night.. But there are so many positives that this is hardly a problem if you are on a budget look no further, excellent breakfast and dinner included amazing can't wait to stay agai , atmosphere is fantastic as well

친절하고 맛있는 조식 석식 덕에 편안했던 곳 입니다. 위치가 외곽지역인것 빼곤 아주 만족스럽습니다.

Lovely stay, excellent Korean dinner. I would go back.

Nice house and common room. Very clean. Bed is comfortable. Good breakfast with fresh fruits. Korean dinner is very nice. The owners mainly speak Korean, but the lady is very nice and friendly. I stayed on the main floor, and since it's wooden floors, I can hear footsteps from floor above and stairs very clearly. Using earplugs were much better. I really liked the quite residential neighborhood and the home atmosphere. It's a little far to the city center but subway is very convenient.

Friendly staff, guests and lovely Korean food however the neighbourhood is not the safest for females travelling alone. It is too far from the station and you must go down a number of alleyways to get to the hostel. It is best for guests who are couples or small groups.

What a pleasure it was to come here. Clean facilities, real comfortable beds and pillows, and good service. The best part, the food! As a Korean person myself, I can attest to the great quality of the Korean food here. Every dinner was delicious. I highly recommend staying here.

30 minute ride on the metro to anything... No lockers in the room. Breakfast and dinner included. No kitchen to cook in. Hard to meet people who are not Asian.

Though some might say it's a little bit far, it is in a quiet, safe neighborhood where you can get a good night's sleep without hearing all of the noise of Paris outside your window. The staff was SO helpful, and the dinner was delicious. The breakfast was also extremely fresh, and the owners of the hostel themselves are the ones who serve you. They are wonderful people, and I will certainly be returning to Namdemun if I come back to Paris.

Some of the facility promises were inaccurate. No washer for guest use and there was no dryer. 2 person room was not a private room - basically hallway adjoining the stairwell to 2 larger dorm rooms - at least 8 people had to walk through the 2 person room to get to their rooms. No door blocking off the stairwell from 2 person room. Stairwell connected to noisy common room. No privacy. At least 10 minute walk to metro & 30-40min ride to get to city. Breakfast nice. Website photos inaccurate.
