Comfortable hostel, very friendly people and services were really good. Maybe if they provide more information of the surrounding area and local events, then the stay would have been perfect

Great Hostel!! The owners are really nice! And there is a korean dinner, it´s sooo good! I spent a great time there! I highly recommend it! It´s a little far from the center of Paris, but in 20 minutes by subway you get there.

The people having contact with the guests were uniformly friendly, helpful, generous and kind. The morning breakfast was ample, fresh and tasty. The nightly dinner differed, but was always ample and tasty. As a result, conversations, in various languages, were lively and informative. One of the best hostels I've visited.

Paris Namuden was a great experience. The communal breakfasts and dinners really added a nice family vibe to the hostel, and they let you get to know everyone really well. The location is far from the center, but the metro stop is a short walk away, and you're never more than a 35 minute metro ride from all the main attractions. The dinners are top-notch too. Stay at Paris Namuden! You won't regret it.

Bottom line if you can handle the train ride, there's no reason to stay anywhere else. I paid the higher prices in the city center and no place compared to Namdemun! Getting two full meals is unheard for this price. The dinner is worth it alone, and one of the best staffs ever. I had a mix up with the airline and had a frustrating phone call and LJ noticed this and offered me a beer. 'Nuff said.

It wasn't what the pictures showed... I was a little disappointed. The house is not really close to the metro, the neighborhood is a little strange, the Carrefour was never open. Also, the room doesn't have a locker and is too tiny for the amount of people in it. The shower was awful... I didn't like staying there at all... the staff is lovely, but it's not the best place to stay if you want to enjoy Paris.

I agree with most reviews I read before booking: location not ideal but staff and breakfast and dinner make up for it. I didn't think the train ride was that bad. I was happy to save a little money in Paris on lodging in exchange for riding the train a little longer. And dinner was AWESOME. Great atmosphere during/after family-style breakfast and dinner, great time to meet other travellers. As a solo traveller I was able to easily meet others to do some sight-seeing with.

Hostel is a bit far from the town center. About a twenty minute metro line. Atmosphere was nothing spectacular yet what made staying at the hostel special were the delicious Korean dinners offered. It is apart of the hostel room price and was well worth it. The staff were also very hospitable and the place is well looked after and clean.

Although the location is not ideal it doesn't matter, the metro is so easy to get to and to use that you can decide anywhere to go and get there easily! The people are incredible, the food is amazing and everything was comfy and clean! I would definately reccommend this as a place to stay in Paris!

The so-called hostel is in a very unsecure place far away from the city center. The place was a mess, the room were dirty, smelling, beds are too close to each other. The place doesn't look like the photos. When we saw the place' we immediately leave and tried to find another hostel.

The people who run Namdemun are very fun and friendly. The only complaint is the location of the guesthouse, as it is pretty far from the center of the city and pretty much requires you take the subway to get there (its a 10 minute walk from the subway though) which can be problematic for late-night tourists because the subway does shut down at night. However, they cook dinner for you and the location is somewhat safer and the security matches the location, so overall its a matter of preferenc
