its not a hostel, its a home. Nothing more can be said.

To be honest it is too far out to be comfortable. The distance to the train station is relativly far, and you need a good twenty minutes with the train to the "center" of the city. The rooms are okay, and the staff is supper nice; but the fact remains when you want to leave extra early to see a museum or stay out a bit later to see the city at night its better just too eat out. Please keep in mind this is how it ended up for us, and that the staff is truely wonderful.

The guesthouse is in the furthest place from important sites, the manner of the stuff was nice at the beginning but it started turning worse and worse in the few days I stayed.

There was a great atmosphere at the hostel. The staff was super nice and having two free meals per day really added value to the experience. I also thouroughly enjoyed trying to use chopsticks. I think i became proficient by the end of my stay. :) One thing I wish was a little better was security, but even then I didn't feel like I would be robbed at any time after meeting my roommates.

We were very disappointed with the Accomodation for the following reason 1. Distance away from Paris 2. Roof was made out of polystyrene which had holes in it 3. Cramped and no where near enough room for five people 4. Informal no reception , Epost and needed can in hand 5. Showers outside with mould on them especially not good in winter 6. No heating that worked Need OHS visit The good points were 1. Owner was nice and very caring 2. Good for people who are Korean or like Korean food

Location is almost outside the Paris. You have to take Line-7 Metro & go to the last station which is village outside of Paris. From there, location is again not at walkable distance or easily located. No one can help you finding the location. No bus can take you there. I have wasted 2 hours in the night after the hectic international travel. It was very cold, no one could tell you where this street or the hostel is, there is no board outside the hostel.

As everyone said before, it is more like a Korean family house. The Staff is kind and warm, food is great!

Dealing with the location of this place is very simple. The train heads directly into the centre of Paris stopping at Chatelet, the Louvre and Opera where the airport bus for CDG airport arrives and leaves from. As for the actual accommodation it is absolutely fantastic. Well priced for a place that provides breakfast and amazing dinners! The people are so caring and there's a very cute and friendly dog. I will definitely suggest this hostel to others and will hopefully be back again.

The owner is benevolent, helpful and generous. The free breakfast and dinner were gourmet, delicious and a massive money saver. The hostel wasn't even that far from Paris - about 10 minutes walk to the station, and 15-20 minutes train ride into the city center. You have to walk and train everywhere in Paris anyway, so the location of the hostel didn't make any difference to me. However, if you prefer proximity, a party hostel or going out late at night, this hostel isn't for you!

this is not a hostel in fact it is a house. if you are starving for hilton style comfort this is not for you. it is a place to share, to know each other, a hospitality club. i enjoyed my stay there. note: before going there i read many reviews about bed bugs. i didn't see/feel any.

Namdemun guest house is a lovely place to stay in Paris. Like all the previous reviews have stated, it is a little bit further out of the city - but if you know that going into it then I don't see why you'd complain afterwards. The food definitely is DELICIOUS and not having to worry about breakfast and dinner was a lifesaver. They have a small dog, who is very cutee but also very cheeky! Make sure you put all to keep all your things in your bags or he might steal some of your socks/toothbrush!

I loved this hostel. Very lovely hostest and cute dog as well. It was very clean and homey. Breakfast was served consistantly every morning at 8 and as was dinner art 7pm. The location is not central but the metro is about a 15 minute walk away which is convenient. Keys are given so that you are able to stay out and not have to worry about coming abck in a timely fashion. All in all I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend this hostel if you are looking for a friendly cottage feel.

I had read the reviews about the distance it is from the nearest metro so I knew it would be far, but it isn't too hard to fine. Avoid too much luggage if you're going to go here. That was the only downside. The staff was so sweet and amazing. The Korean dinner was delicious and they love to give you more! The French breakfast was addicting. Me and my friends didn't want to leave. I wish I could have been at the hostel more because it was so comfortable!

Positive: The lady was very very nice and her cooking was excellent, too. Negative: This place is really far away from the city centre so it was really time consuming to get to the places for sightseeing. The bedding was terrible in this hostel . It has BUGS!!! I got bug bites all around my neck. There is also a bite on my twist which caused allergic reaction and the redness and itchiness expanded on my whole arm. I ended up with going to a doctor after coming back and I have to take pills now

Food was amazing!!!!!! Great to come home to a home cooked meal. Easy enough to find. Location is pretty bad though. If you don't mind the commute into Paris it is ok. Clean and homely. On the whole the only huge downside was the location.
