Pariwana Hostel Cusco Reviews

As we exited the taxi and walked up to the front door of the Pariwana, the effects of the altitude began to make us weary. As the giant wooden doors opened, we were greeted with a glimpse of heaven. The sun was shining brightly down upon the center courtyard, which was filled with incredibly beautiful women lounging on bean bags. It was so picturesque that I almost heard a choir of angels singing down from above. The rooms were as clean and comfortable as a hotel. The staff was fantastic. Meh...

Brilliant hostel. Private rooms are clean and big and some of the best beds in South America. Room 215 especially. Excellent location too. Highly, highly recommend this place.

My second night end up dorm without window, at least an exhaust fan to be installed to bring in fresh air. Generally the room was ok, clean with comfortable bed, but no WIFI in the room. Good location, near to main square and restaurant. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

Need more hooks in room for hanging towels/ jackets. Would be nice if the wifi worked in the room. Vegetarian bbq was missable.

You can find cheaper options in Cusco, but the character and location are worth the money spent.

Great place and nice staff. Me and my friends stayed in two different rooms and both of them didn't have windows. As a old building, I would recommend an exhaust fan for the rooms and the bathrooms to remove the "oldy" smell and moisture.

Staff was super helpful and very close to main square! Tons of things to do- salsa lessons, chill and watch a movie in the lounge or grab a drink at the bar. Bathrooms were clean and nice

Pariwana was a fun place in a great location, but it needs wifi in the rooms and should include towels & locks with the rooms.

i would close some window after a certain hour because it gets really cold at night. activities everyday are great and help to meet people! BBQ & Salsa class were my favorite!

I really like it here, the beds are amazing. Two pillows and a real duvet?? Yes thank you. It is party without being too party and the noise isn't bad at night. Wifi is pretty good too. Location is excellent and you feel really safe there as well. Been twice in about two weeks so definitely worth it. People can be insensitive but the hostel is great. Free tea etc and kitchen is brill but the good isn't badly priced either. Would definitely recommend

Nice hostel, good location, safe and clean. Can get a bit noisy due to the music coming from the pub, but in general it stops before midnight.

Unfortunately I picked up bed bugs on my first night at this hostel and whilst the staff were very helpful organising for my laundry to be done for free, they only changed the sheets and someone else slept in the bed the next night. I was told they would be doing the next fumugation in two weeks. Otherwise a good hostel with lots of facilities though very noisy and the toilets were regularly dirty.

Staff are pretty incompetent. The coffee always runs out and will be "ready in 5 minutes". Not once did I get a coffee while I ate my actual breakfast. The staff at the front counter were not very helpful. Decent location. Dirty bathrooms. They have a beautiful courtyard but there is a ping ping table in the middle. Try reading a book with ping pong balls hitting you every 5 minutes.

This is an awesome hostel. Has everything you need!!!!!! The restaurant has such good food and the beds are so comfortable.

Two pillows, comfortable mattress and a good location

Pariwana has very comfortable beds, hot showers, good lockers, and decent WiFi. ...But the hostel is extremely LOUD - the bar plays music which can be heard throughout the whole hostel until 2am and there are people on the patio playing foosball/ping pong at all hours, despite signs saying that post-10pm is "quiet time". The hostel also tends to attract the type of guest that doesn't think twice about walking into a dorm room at midnight, turning on the lights and talking loudly for an hour.
