The hotel was VERY expensive for the actual value, the room was OLD , the bathroom NOT CLEAN, it was leaking, FULL of MOLD, it had humidity smell, the staff tried to CHEAT whith the Tour prices, the furniture was OLD and NOT WORKING (example: computer was not working, the curtains needed cleaning!!! Water Preassure in toilet was BAD, and the sewers were clotted or something because after the shower, the water stayed there for AGES and also it leaked through the floor) the wall paper was STAINED

We had two fantastic stays at the Thaison Grand hotel for a total of six nights. The staff particularly Maria, Lena and Emily couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful with pointing us around Hanoi and arranging train tickets. Room was clean, stand alone shower was huge, great location and nice breakfast - would definitely return.

We had a very nice stay at Thaison Grand Hotel. Staff Members were very friendly, sometimes communication in English was kind of difficult but no misunderstandings occurred. First time South-East-Asia travellers have to consider that some rooms don't have windows. We booked a tour to Ha Long Bay from the hotel catalogue which we could unfortunately not recommend. Too expensive, tour with 18 people instead of the guaranteed only our group tour, the ship we drove with was in a bad condition.

Excellent hotel with wonderful service. Room was very nice, clean and modern facilities. It was much better and exceeded far from our expectation. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We booked our tour to Halong Bay via Mr. Cong and got excellent quality too. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Very friendly staff. They helped organize our activities with great attention to details and our needs. Room was clean and comfortable but noisy. We heard all sounds from the stairway / hallway so were waken up frequently by customers coming back to their rooms. Also, room had no window. Rooms with windows are available in the front of the hotel, we just didn't get these. Included breakfast buffet was OK but no more.

We stayed for a night first and after our Halong Bay tour, we came back and stayed another few nights. The facilities were very clean. They clean ur room & change towels every day. Rooms spacious with snacks for extra if you want. All staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast ws good with different options and varity. Booked their ha dugong boat trip for halong bay 2day/1night. Would recommend. This is a hotel, so don't expect to meet many others travelers. Great food around the area and easy walk or motor

We must rate this hotel 5/5 as it is the best 3 star hotel in Hanoi now. We can say that because we have stayed in some different hotels nearby before but Thaison Palace is the best among and the price is even cheaper. The most impressive for this charming hotel is the staff- they are always smiley and helpful. Room is nice and clean too. Location, breakfast, lift, Internet... are also very good. full of hot water...No thing too much trouble. Very good hotel to stay in Hanoi.
