It was great! Good staff, good atmosphere, good conditions, just 4 blocks away from the Union Station. Definitely a bookmark for later visits!

Very nice private room with own bathroom! The room itself was very ascetic, but the bathroom was nice, and points for two showers! Near to subway station, so very easy to get around any time of the day. We didn't have time to try the breakfast, but kitchen was good and whole hostel was peaceful and clean.

very good in general, but the manager could really smile from time to time and be a bit nicer, after all we`re his paying customers and a smile doesn`t cost him a thing!

Although the hostel is clean and in a good location there's no fun backpacker atmosphere. You're not allowed alcohol (even though there are two fully stocked bars downstairs), the 'common room' has one couch and is smaller than the dorm rooms and the 'kitchen' has a microwave and fridge and nothing else. If you want somewhere to prepare your meals you have to go two doors down to an apartment (that doesn't have basic cutlery or bowls).

Good location! Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Clean Rooms. Free WiFi. You must behave at breakfast or the staff will reprimand you =)

This is a really nice hostel located close to the Willis Towers and United Center! You can actually walk to downtown from here! great location, I'll definetly recommend it

You Cant drink alcohol in the hostel, which doesnt make any sense, as drinking at the hostel is a lot more affordable for travelers with limited money, as drinking at a bar is expensive!! but also with a bad atmosphere in the common area it makes it harder to socialize & meet people. The lockers are also tiny in the rooms so you just have to trust people then. Good thing was it was really close to the subway and the greyhound

The Good: Nicely remodeled dorm- and bathrooms! I loved the look. Nice heavy duty bunk beds. The squeaking is normal I guess, but I felt safe sleeping in it. good buy! The little gadgets that spray air freshener in the dorms are a great thing! Especially in the usually locker room smelly male dorms. Awesome eye for the small detail! The Not So Good: The common areas were rather small. The kitchen was barely something you could call such. Not handicapped or senior friendly. No elevator!

Great location, in Greek Town and within about a 10 minute walk from Willis Tower. I stayed one night in the 8 bed male room, which is on the third floor (no elevator). I got a key to the room and also a key for the front door (which you wave in front of pad to unlock). This place is ok. If you need a basic bed for the night, this is your place. They serve breakfast, but I split early before it was served. I would stay again.

Good hostel overall, but REALLY loud on weekends because of the club across the street. Friendly staff and clean rooms made up for it.

Pretty average. They get bonus points for providing hand soap and paper towels in the bathrooms. Only complaint would be the weirdly tiny bathroom stalls... have to contort to avoid banging your knees on the doors.

Staff was amazing! The only issue was that the wifi connection was very bad, even in the common room. Other than that, the stay was fantastic!

You really cant beat the location. Public transportation was easily accessible and the staff was very helpful. Many great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The only thing I didnt like was that the walls are really thin so if your a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

No specific complaints - just a very average place. I booked a single room which was tiny but the shared bathroom was clean and just across the corridor. Check-in staff were pleasant and gave me a map. Be prepared to get corrected at breakfast however if you use the toaster incorrectly or put your empty dish in the wrong place. The main reason behind my low score is that is not a lot cheaper than a budget hotel but falls a long way short of hotel facilities. Location is quite good
