Friendly staff, 5 min walk from port, 10 min from main bus station, 40 min walk from airport or a quick bus which stops near by. Great food nearby. Hotel was clean, staff was excellent, helpful and friendly.
Just a regular hotel! Rooms were OK. Annoying were the planes coming over till midnight, but you will experience that all over Heraklion.
The hotel was far from the center, but if do you need to spend one night, before catch the ferry, it´s perfect. Near the hotel, the environment is strange. Empty streets, doesn't inspire confidence. If you are traveling with family or couple, I don't recomend; I recomend if you only need to sleep before go to port.
Though it's near to the port, you have to walk uphill to reach to the hotel and it might be a problem if you have big suitcases. The room was okay, but we later found out that it's extremely close to the airport and we heard the flights landing off all the time, which caused real problems to sleep. The room was air conditioned though.
The hotel is very well located if you need to catch either a ferry or a plane early in the morning, being very close to both the airport and the harbor. I arrived late at night and left early in the morning, so my stay was not long enough to review other aspects of the hotel.
Very polite staff and a perfect place to stay till 2 nights. Had to walk like 15mins to the center, also the airport closeby was a bit of a hassle to cope with on terms of noise. But totally recommend it if you are looking for a cheap place with all comforts.
This hotel was of moderate quality. A little out of the way - about a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The biggest problem with the hotel is that a nail salon is run right in the foyer, the fumes from which waft up the stairs and into the rooms. The (presumably well-intentioned) cleaners threw away some of my belongings, likely mistaking them for rubbish. If you're on a budget, this may be an option. Although, I'd recommend shelling out a few extra euros for a nicer hotel.
