If you are not afraid from very, very, very small and dark sleepingrooms and if you have no problem with little spider webs, you are on the right place. It was a great time on a ship with a lot of positive energy. It was very funny to watch during the dinner films together with other guests. Best place in Amsterdam!

Only complaint is the toilets stunk of urine. Is there nobody to clean the toilets?? Otherwise, excellent value for money.

It was pretty cheap and the concept of sleeping on a boat is cool, plus the breakfast was included. There's two major problems that I had : The bedroom (cabin) was atrociously small, there's barely enough place for two people to stand in it. My bed was barely bigger than the size of my body. Secondly, the shower is just one little room, with no place to put dry clothes or anything. You end up having to walk half naked from there to your cabin. For that reason, the corridors are often wet.

Hostel is within great walking distance from the train station, and into the main street in the centre. Accommodation was small for a couple but the bottom bunk is cosy enough for two. Prices a night per person were good rates.

We really enjoyed stay in this original place. Staff is very friendly, it is clean but small. However, if you decide to stay on ship thats how it looks like. We fully recommend you this place because of the price with breakfast included and close location to the center. Regards and thank you very much :)

We stayed there for just one night. The atmosphere was ok, the rooms are really small, but the upstairs(the deck, i guess is called) is really nice to have coffee and breakfast, which we missed. There are only 2 toiletsand showers for the whole ship. All and all, no regrets, just experiences :)

This bostel was an experience and a great place to stay for a night. The room was a bit small, but it didn´t matter as it provided the most important thing: a place to sleep. I´d definetely come back to this place!

I didn't end up making it to the hostel but my brother who is a VERY picky guy says that he had a good time there. No complaints. My girlfriend says that it's shame I couldn't make it because staying on a boat was a pretty cool experience.

The staff at Avanti were fantastic--Jessie was very flexible with allowing me to cut my stay short by a night. It's just across the bridge from Central Station which was nice. It's a ship so you can expect small rooms but it's well-kept and with the breakfast in the morning, it's really a great deal. I will stay here again when I return to Amsterdam!

Je pense qu'un nettoyage des sanitaires (douches et toilettes) au quotidien serait nécessaire.

+ Nice experience to stay in a boat + The bar area on the top was really nice to have breakfast or a drink + it was warm enough, as well as the water. -of course it is a boat and the space will be limited by default, however please note that the cabin although it has 2 beds by no means is for 2 people. especially if they do not know each other. If you have to book the whole cabin it defeats the purpose of cheap accommodation. profit is good but respect to guests should be more important

- Staff friendly and helpful -breakfast good + generous - room small but cosy, upper deck lounge area had lots of space to chill out - Location v. good + central (recommend the Maritime museum close by - wish we'd had more time here) +close to bike racks (highly recommend hiring bikes) - small gripes: 1)Directions to find the Avanti difficult to follow - the email directions would be easier if they'd referenced more landmarks . :2) radiator in our room broken - difficult to dry wet clothes

This ship is clean, located in a very good place and has friendly staff. They offer a good breakfast as well. The main problem is that the cabins are extremely small and upper beds are very inconvenient for sleeping. So, I recommend this place for only one night for people who are really adventurous to spend one night on a ship. I personally will not experience it again as I couldn't sleep well in my bed (it was too tight).

Really nice atmosphere, there is a nice sitting room where you can have a beer , watch a DVD or just surf the web. There is a microwave and a Kettle you can use with Tea, coffe and milk (this is free). The staff is really nice and helpful. I've been there twice and I will come back!
