Staff super friendly, you have to ask to be let out though as they keep the door locked but then they don't actually check if you are staying there or not. Only 4 showers for the whole place and not the cleanest. Didn't see the kitchen and we missed breakfast so can't comment on those. Didn't really spend much time in the hostel so was fine for what we needed.
Most irritating place I ever stayed!!!Girl at reception not local, she was stressful and unhelpful at all!!!She cannot provide any basic information what to see in city, where to take buses and other tourist info, that hostels staff SHOULD KNOW!!!Just wandering what she doing there? You have to ask staff to open entrance door all the time, they are so scary about it!Stupid rules with no smoking policy inside property, even there is open air garden,No WIFI Internet in dormitories!Stressful place!!!
Ver y well located but the owner should Cléan more often. The kitchen Is small.
Excellent location. But they are a little bit paranoiak about the door and the breakfast is very poor.
Poor management, otherwise a decent place to stay. I came home at night after extending my stay to find that, despite promising that I would not have to change beds, there was someone sleeping in my bed! The staff did nothing to help alleviate this problem. Also, they have a strange and dangerous policy regarding leaving the hostel. They lock the only door out from the inside, so everyone you want to leave you must find the receptionist (not easy) and ask permission. This is a fire hazard.
Nice hostal on a good location.

Good breakfast. Ride the acensor to get up the hill, its easier than walking.
Fun hostel with good breakfast and nice location. The staff are very friendly but must of them are volunteers who dont know a lot more than the basics about the town. Apart from that it is a cool place to hang out, which makes it easy to meet new people
Several bad things. You have to pay to use the common areas after check out time. I've never seen this before. So don't stay here if you are waiting for a bus, etc. Staff have to let you in and out by opening the entrance with a key. Annoying for everyone and a fire hazard. The worst of all is our dorm reeked like gasoline. It was making me sick. It turns out it was due to a bed bug problem and that was the cleaning solution! The location was okay and the breakfast was good but regret booking.
Very friendly staff, the hostel has a great atmosphere and is good if you are up for a party. Breakfast is not the best and toilets definitely needs a handyman and a good clean. Rooms are big and there are lockers for your personal belongings. Overall a good experience due to friendly staff and nice people at the hostel.
Cool hostel, very friendly staff, nice common rooms where I was able to meet some really great people, spacious rooms and breakfast that is actually served to you. All in all, this hostel definitely contributed to the great time I had in Valparaiso.
Me and my boyfriend stayed there for one night. It was really nice there, breakfast was awesome (homemade smoothie, and marraqueta with cheese and tomato baked in the oven!!). The Location is pretty nice, close to Valpos center and still high enough to get an amazing view over the city! The staff was really nice! Thx to Sina, Urban ;) and everybody else - was a great and fun evening! ;)
This hostel seems to attract the best travellers and provides cozy spaces to hang out, share a bottle of wine, play the guitar, cook a meal, etc. The staff take care to keep the space clean, the breakfast is amazing, and the beds warm and comfortable. The hostel is located on a quirky little street lined with flowers and street art located next to tons of cafes and restaurants as well as one of the best views of the city. Only complaint are the showers-either freezing or scalding. No in-between.
Location is about 30 min walk from bus station which is a long hike with a pack. Great facilities - I was here for new year (busiest night of the year) and we never had to queue for bathroom. Lovely staff.
Really friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere and loved the communal patio so was very easy to meet other people, yummy breakfast, clean showers and great/comfty facilities. Good location too and walking distance from the main plazas. Would definitely come back!
Located a few blocks away from the city, this hostel has a very relaxed atmosphere. Helpful staff. Good bathrooms and showers. Good wifi, decent kitchen if a bit small. There's a patio on the back with hammocks to enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature.
Nice staff, excellent atmosphere. Nice patio at the back where you can have a drink with other travellers. Nice common area inside.
AMAZING location, walking distance to bars, cafes and main attractions. The dorms are big and the breakfast alone is reason to book in. The staff were super accommodating as we continued to keep extending our stay and were helpful in getting us acquainted with the city.
Great venue to see the graffiti in Valpo. Good breakfast and internet was good. Small hostels you tend to meet more people so I really enjoyed this hostel. Only bad thing was some of the other travellers there, coming in at 5am and having a drunk loud conversation in the dorm is not too respectful, but that's only a small minority of people and I was just unlucky to share a room with them.
