Amazing place to stay. Strongly recommend it. The owners are one of the best people I have met in Chile. Really friendly and extremely helpful.

Good hostel with a good staff. Nice breakfast. One negative would be they charge if you linger for a couple hrs after you check out. Like if your bus leaves a bit later and you want to just chill and watch TV they charge you, which I havent seen before, most hostels dont care. Otherwise a good place to stay. Late check out is nice too. (1130am)

The staff are great! Very friendly and cook and serve you breakfast. Unbelievably cool. Also they will show you good spot to visit and explain well how to get there. We drank plenty of cervesa's with them and also cooked a delicious Chilean BBQ. Best hostel so far. Valparaiso is great.

PataPata is a lovely hostel with a fantastic breakfast served to you & amazing friendly staff! George was particularly lovely and always had helpful advice of what to see/where to eat/where to go! The building is getting a bit old and the kitchen is quite small but adequate so long as not too many people are trying to cook at the same time! We loved it here & would definitely recommend it!

The PataPata Hostel is one of the nicest hostels I've been to so far. Located at the heart of Vaparaíso, it offers everything you could ask for. The breakfast is incredible, the staff is freindly and helpful, tels you where to go (and where not), has a lot of good ideas and some agreements with restaurants in favour to the guests. The only minus would have been the moving bunk beds but right when I was there they where working on that, improving this and some other stuff in the house. Go there!!
