Good clean hostel. Nice rooms. Owners very knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. The down side is that the private rooms are quite expensive for sharing a bath. Especially considering the hostel only has a single shared bathroom for up to 10 people. And the lack of kitchen facilities mean you have cold dinners or eat out making this hostel even less value for money.

When we arrived at Patagonia Hostel at about 10am, the first question of the owner was, Did you have breakfast yet? She then immedeately brought out German bread, jam, fruits, cheese, ham, coffee,... Patagonia Hostel is a small, very personal place, the hosts are helpful and very friendly and the breakfast is the best we had so far in Chile. The rooms are clean, with clean sheets and nice fluffy duvets. The only small downside is, that there is now communal kitchen. You get plates etc, though.

very charming and small hostel. the couple who runs it is very friendly and make their own bread which you get for breakfast. :) however, there's no kitchen which was the only downside of it.
