This hostel was really close to the Dom/Hbf (Cathedral/main train station) so it was very convenient for arriving/departing and sightseeing. I was in a 4-bed dorm and the room itself was fairly small but not too cramped. There were 4 large storage lockers with a "deposit a €1 or €2 coin" lock. Each bed also had its own light and outlet . The ensuite bathroom was a decent size and very clean! There is a fairly large kitchen and a large common areas. There is a €10 deposit for the key fyi.

Typical breakfast of coffee, rolls, cheese, and ham -- a good value in Köln for 4 Euros. The street nearby is very noisy, FYI. Nice place. can rent bikes on site.

I booked into a 8 beds room and the room is facing the train station side. If you open the window you can hear the train coming and going. The room and common is clean and tidy. Love the kitchen as it is well equipped with stoves, pot, pans, fridge and sinks. Big locker at basement to store your luggage if you are away for few days. Oh, we didnt ask why we couldnt check-in our room at 10am (preferred time) but have to wait till 3pm. They allow us to store luggage in the store so it is good.

Ich fand es schade, dass es keine Lunchpakete gab, obwohl im Internet etwas darüber stand. Ich hätte dies gerne in Anspruch genommen, da ich das Hostel schon vor 8.00 Uhr morgens wieder verlassen habe.

I was there for very short time, few hours because of kind of transit. Everything was fine and the people there are extremely helpful! Lovely staff! 5 Minutes to Main Train Station. Excellent!

Perfect if my room was not located at the 2nd floor as I had a big luggage with me and there's no lift.

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed at.

Was going to complain about the traffic noise but found out the windows only shut properly if you use both hands. After that the bedrooms are very soundproof. Would stay there again.

The hostel is very clean. I like the sockets are enough for the room, each bed has two socket and light.

This is one of the hostels in Gemany which doesn't (must) require a IYHF membership card. Locates just walking distance from Hbf. Clean and comfortable. You can use the well furnished kitchen. An impressive stay there!

Excellent hostel. Next to the main train station. I booked a 4 bed room and it was perfect:: confortable bed and shower, huge lockers to keep things. The kitchen facilities are excellent too. The only little problem for me is that the hostel has no lift, and it could be a big problem if you're carrying heavy bagagge. But I highly recommend it.

Very well located. The staff is really nice and it had a very nice atmosphere.

The main common room is far away from the kitchen and you must cross a cold corridor to access it: not easy to open the doors with food in your hands! So many peole eat lunch and dinner in the bar face to the open kitchen, where there is less space (thus more noisy), less confortable chairs and smells! Common room is also too big to share: not evident when someone is looking TV upstairs, people are speaking downstairs and others are seeking calm in the library nearby!

The location is excellent and the room is clean. Loved it )

I was with a group of 4 friends, we had a very nice stay, rooms are very clean. There are big and beds quite comfortable. A very good deal, 2 mins walking from the train station

the best hostel during my trip though i am not the first travel in Germany,good location and friendly staffs,the kitchen is large,bright and clean,if i go back Cologne no doubt to choose it again,and they have discount for YHA members.
