A great place! very clean and enjoyable atmosphere with lots of hang-out areas, enclosed courtyard and community room. staff very helpful & friendly. a VERY short walk to the Koln Dom and train station. would definitely stay again. the only word of caution, you may have the top bunk, so be agile!

This hostel is in a good location, close enough to walk to everything but it was lacking the atmosphere of a hostel. The common room was really quiet and it echoed which wasn't encouraging when you sat down and everything was silent. There is a great outdoor seating area (a couple in fact) but no one was using them. This place is really close to the train station which makes outside noise pretty great but otherwise good value for the money. I'd stay there again.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location close to main train station and within easy walking distance of the river and city centre. a bit more expensive than the other hostels we visited, but this was the only one with kitchen facilities, which were excellent

Stayed here for 1 night, 2 beds in 4-bed-dorm. The different staffs during the day and night shift. The lockers for temporary baggage in the basement are huge - very convenient! The WC room was also very clean.

It was my first time in my Cologne and it was also my first trip that i would stay in a hostel. I'm a bit nervous about that but Pathpoint was highly above my expectations. Staff was very helpful and kind and hostel was very clean. Pathpoint will be my first choice if i will be in Cologne next time. Only problem for me is that wi-fi is not accessible in some parts of the hostel. Thanks to Pathpoint staff for everything.

I really recommend this hostel. It is very near to the main station and near to the main sights of the city. The room is clean and secure. I think the breakfast is a bit expensive to only breads, iogurts and caffee.

The hostel location was very good, being really close to the train station. It also has a very pleasant and comfortable reception. It also has a water dispensing machine, which was very important to me. We had to put the bedsheets ourselves which was tiring, but at least we can be sure that the sheets were clean. I stayed in the 8 female room, which was warm, clean and comforable. The toilet was also very clean. The hostel staff was also friendly and recommended places for us to have our meals.

Good position for this hostel, really close to the train station of the city. Anyway, poor character and poor fun. But, if you are just searching for a good position and a clean room in the city, it's what you are searching for.

There is a big kitchen in the Hostel, so it's convenient to make coffe and to cook if you want.

It did exactly what it said on the tin. It was clean and tidy, and at an excellent price. It took me back to being a student, but they were happy times. Staff were fantastic and all spoke excellent English. Breakfast was simple, but very nice and for 4 euro I wasn't expecting it to be smoked salmon and poached eggs. I would stay here again no problem.

This hostel is quite close to central station of Cologne, about 10 -15 mins by walk. The staffs are really nice, kind! In kitchen, there ere several stoves and enough things to cook by myself. Wifi connection is not bad but it didn't work in the room. If you wanna use wifi for both laptop and cellular, you should receive two IDs. Each room has toilet and restrooms and shower facilities are quite good! Enough hot water! There is a deposit for room key, 10Euros. I recommend you to stay this hostel

Near the central station and the church. But this hostel doesn't have a lift, though it only has three floors, still a problem if you carry a big luggage.

This was an utterly forgettable experience. While the hostel had some nice facilities and a good kitchen, it was drab and completely devoid of character. Internet access is very poor. Bathrooms needed a scrub. It is in good vicinity to the railway station so it is fine if all you need to do is spend one night and leave again straight away in the morning, but I couldn't imagine trying to use it as a base for a prolonged stay in Cologne.

Stayed here one night passing through to Frankfurt. Everything overall was pretty average, No bad points but no outstanding ones either. Stayed in a 4 bed female dorm, room was a bit small but ensuite was nice.
