A very nice place. It's situated close to the city centre and to the station. The staff was very kind. There is no protection to cover the mattress and that would be useful as many people sleep in the beds. It would be cleaner. Good value for money!

One of the best I stayed in. Location is prime and easily reachable. Staff is helpful and nice. The hostel has an authentic Spanish vibe. We stayed in a 2-bed private room with a balcony, which was really great. But it's also a good hostel to meet people, as there are some common rooms and a great patio. As for the provided breakfast, I've never had a better breakfast in a hostel! Would recommend anyone to stay here when in Malaga!

Really nice staff, nice atmosphere, well-enough equiped kitchen, delicious breakfast. The only bad thing is that the owners, who live downstairs can be really noisy so if you are tired and want to go to bed erly you might have some problems falling asleep.

The hostel is full of historical accessoires (like knight armors), which give it a slightly spooky but also cozy atmosphere. The host lady was friendly and helpful. We stayed in room #1, a double room on the first floor. Although we enjoyed the private balcony, the street was noisy - also at night. The breakfast was indeed among the best ones we ever had in a hostel - with freshly baked Spanish specialties and fresh fruits.

Enough big private room with our own bathroom, decorations like in museum, excellent atmosphere, very nice staff. Very good home made breakfast. Perfest location. We'd definitely stay there again. I reccomend to anyone.

The hostel is close to the city center and to all the main places but in a rather quiet street. The room was very small, it was basically just the bed and felt a bit like sleeping in a closet. The atmosphere could have been really nice, but we didnt feel very comfortable because there was just no privacy. We could really hear everything what was going on in the room next to us and there are some things you just dont want to hear! Cleanliness was ok, but not great either.

Last minute booking at this place, and it was far better than we expected! The hotel is very well-placed for the city centre, although the area is a little rough if you go the other way. However the hostel itself was great, and the atmosphere and staff really make it far better than the price tag. The breakfast was good too, and although it varied from day-to-day slightly, on one of our 2 mornings we got treated to home-made cakes and brownies as well as the usual spread! Recommended.

Nice place quiet in the centre of the city. But it's not easy to meet people there. It's more like a guesthouse than a hostel. The lady running it is very nice and makes great breakfast.

Lovely decoration, good atmosphere, very nice staff. We'd definitely stay there again. The only thing is that the bed was not very comfortable, the mattress could be changed.

Nice hostel with a beautiful patio. Rooms are nice. But its Not very social. Wheni was there, there were only couples and groups. Maybe Not ideal for solo travellers. The breakfast is great, you get typical tomatoes,cakes,..amazing! Location is perfectly central

Nice stylish hostel in the city center. Very good breakfast. Unreliable wifi, no air conditioners, a bit noisy at night (you can listen to how the host's family lives on the ground floor - coughing, watching TV, playing with their children, etc), not enough seats and desks at the terrace. Ants on the desks at the patio on the ground floor.

Charming hostel, located well in the city center, but in the side street so its quiet. Friendly and helpful stuff, which gives a lot of information about the city and free tours.

Beautiful and clean place in a great spot. A decent walk from the bus station but worth it. The beautiful lady on reception even got up as well as her young son at 1.30 in the morning to call me a taxi, because I don't speak Spanish. They will do anything for you here, definetely recommend staying at Patio 19.

Absolutely lovely hostel and staff! Not the hostel for you if you're looking to meet lots of people and be hugely social, but if you're looking for a quiet stay it's perfect :)

Supersuperfriendly staff and a very good homemade breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere in a real spanish home setting. We loved our stay here...

Great hostel if you want some traditional Spanish flair! Wish they had more seating, or more work tables. Internet wasn't too reliable - only in certain parts of the hostel. Clean and affordable!

Great location, only a 10 minute walk from the main promenade and in the heart of the old town. No hidden costs, bed linen, towels and locker included in the price. Quirky layout, more of a homely touch compared to other hostels.
