The staff was very friendly and helpful. Moreover, the room was nice and clean and the hostel is not to far away from the city centre. We would recommend to stay there.

We got a room for two at Patio Hostel and it was great. Very big, clean, confortable, it almost felt like a hotel. The bathroom was big and they even gave us towels, soaps and shampoos. The location of Patio Hostel is good and we could visit every touristic point walking from there. The staff was helpful most of the times.

Pretty nice hostel, with good atmos. Free welcome beer was cool, and the room was good enough! Trunks under bed were very spacious but awkward to lock with a padlock. Conventional lockers may be useful. The patio and BBQ looked fun too! Lovely and helpful staff!

Definitely a hostel atmosphere - clean enough with the basic facilities but only problem was lack of space/room, plus having to share 1 toilet between several rooms of people. The downstairs bar and back garden/terrace was wonderful though, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Well located in the city. The room was clean, secure and comfortable. We stayed only one night on our way from Vienna to Budapest and it suited what we needed. We didn't experience much of the hostel as we were out most of the time we were there but it seemed nice.

Mixed feeling about this hostel. Has good points but many flaws as well. Seemed more like a former student housing block turned into a hostel. Has kitchen on each floor but more of a kitchenette and not ideal for cooking. Computers in common room provided but they would have to be the slowest I've ever come across, like from the 90's. Crowd predominantly young and can be a bit noisy/inconsiderate at night.

Good hostel. Good location. Good staff. Good everything. Would definitely return

Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are awesome and the 1.50€ BBQ is an awesome way to draw everyone down to the courtyard and be social. A really great way to meet people if you're travelling alone.

There were not enough bathrooms for the dorms.

Very good. I stayed in a spacious 6 bed dorm, and it was true to the pictures advertised on their website. Everything was very clean and spotless. The linen provided was good quality. There were even spare towels available in the bathrooms incase you needed an extra one. The only thing that needs fixing is that the section that you need to attach your own padlock to, to lock your own locker is too far apart for any common lock to fit between. You had to leave the locker unlocked. Lack of safety.

Great place, needed more for the of people. But other than that. Awesome! Love the bar in it. Staff are great !

Lovely hostel, really nice patio area out the back (though the wifi was a bit sketchy there). Spacious dorms and great bathroom and kitchen facilities. Could have done with more chairs in the communal area on our floor (level 3) but otherwise really good. They even have a daily BBQ that looked delicious for only €1.50! We went out for local food during our stay but was definitely temped!

We spent one night here and one night at hostel blues and the difference was huge but with little difference in price. It was good but not excellent, the bar downstairs was good and let you meet people easily and the bbq would have been good if it wasn't raining. Lack of plugs in 10 bed rooms and only 2 showers per floor was a bit much. Overall good but not the best.

This is a lovely hostel! Close to town centre, nice garden, common room and bar (1 Euro glass of wine?!). BBQ dinner was awesome for 1.5 Euro, plus brekkie for 2. Only issue was we arrived before a thunderstorm, it was humid, we were on the 5th floor with no air con. Worst night's sleep of my life. There was a fan which helped a little. If they installed air con, this place would be pretty perfect!

The room was very warm

So nice hostel! I really enjoyed, thank you! Own bar was amazing! Here you get to know so many travelers as well because there was space to hang out :)

Patio hostel is great for meeting people! The patio outside and the bar downstairs create a great atmosphere. Rooms were spacious enough and they'd put a fan in our room due to the heat. There's also a fridge on every floor making sure there's enough space for your stuff as well. Staff was very friendly and the hostel was easy to reach. BBQ that they offer is on the small size and took an here. Could use more bathrooms on every floor. Elevator was useful!

Lockers were not very secure, they could be opened by several keys. Other than that, it was a fine hostel. Only thing that annoyed me, was that they made me change rooms, so i had to check out in the morning and check in again in the afternoon. That was really annoying, because part of the reason i booked two nights in a quiet city like Bratislava was that i wanted to rest and sleep long.

Super nice staff, super helpful, nice place, the kitchen was not very good. Towels and lock were very appreciated.

Patio Hostel is the worst hostel to be. There is nothing to do in Bratislava, the people there are bad at English and the atmosphere is really bad at this hostel.
