We were on the recently renovated fourth floor - clean rooms with nice basic design. We weren't provided with any towels larger than a hand towel and we were hot in the night despite the small fan.
It was very hot when we were there and there weren't even fans for every room. Wifi worked fine, the beds weren't the best, but no other complaints.
"Hostel very interesting, with many living spaces. Good location, nice staff and very clean. Losing only by the noise and the reduced number of shower"
Great the BBQ in the evenings. Sooo small kitchen in case you want to cook. Shared bathrooms a bit dirty at times and the curtains of the shower are perfect for others to look at you when you are in. Good atmosphere, doors a bit noisy when closing
The location is perfect, rooms are ok, some members of the staff were nice and some were not... There is a parking but not many places.
We enjoyed our stay here, but the rooms got so warm that it was impossible to sleep due to no Aircondition or fan. The Girl who checked us in to our room was quite unnpleasent, but the rest of the staff was being as friendly as possible. It had an amazing garden where there were bbq's daily and it was easy to be social. :)
Good hostel. Nicely decorated (I think everything was brought from IKEA, haha). Excellent location. Nothing to complain about really. I would definitely return.
as my flight was cancelled i was unable to stay here but my interactions with the staff were very good and i have heard so many good things from other peers about this place i def will end up here sooner rather than later
nice hostel, with a bar to meet people. free laundry which is always a plus, but expect to wait and make sure you put it on quick wash otherwise you'll be waiting for 3 hours for your washing. there's a kitchen/ shower/ toilet on every level and the beds are comfortable and don't squeak! close to the city center, since Bratislava is so small.
It was a nice place to stay, centrally located and useful that it had a 24hr reception
Someone stole my clothes at the laundry and I really wasn't expecting that. I mean, no one does right? The staff just don't care about what happens inside the hostel. There were an english group ( what a surprise ) screaming at 4 in the morning and throwing things at the windows and saying disrespectfull words to those who told them to shut the hell up. I really don't recomend going to this hostel. I won't come back ever.
It's a great hostel, with very helpfull staff. It was clean, the facilities were all right and it has a very nice atmosphere. It's great to have your breakfast in the patio and meet other travellers. I would recommend this hostel if you are planning to stay in Bratislava!
I loved that the hostel was newly redone! It was nice to have a room that was so up to date.
Good location, no atmosphere at all, clean rooms.
We really enjoyed our stay at this Hostel. The staff was really kind and helpful. Laundry was free. The hostel is located 15 minutes maximum from the city centre. The only problem was the kicthen and the breakfast. The kitchen was really small and it was dirty, and the breakfast is too expensive for what it is (Chocolate croissant, cereal bar, orange juice and an apple for 2 euros) . However, the room was really clean. We didn't use the "Patio" which is the common spot, which seemed nice.
It is a clean hostel close to town (5 mintures walk) but because of its size very anonymus. The facilities are good.
it's a huge hostel in walkable distance to all sights. Our 8 bed dorm was divided into two four bed rooms which was nice plus the room was very clean and the beds were comfy. Showers and toilets didn't match the standard of the room though. Nice terasse space outside otherwise lacking a bit of atmospere.
18€ to share a room in Bratislava with another 5 people is quite expensive; especially when there is no any extra service than any other hostel could offer; i beieve next time we can find a much better place to stay.
Pretty okay for a quick stay, really. Bathroom sink was clogged when I arrived, and showers very grimy, which gave an average first impression. The horrible door to my dorm room was so difficult to open, lock and actual door needs some serious repairs - looked pretty dodgy with the staples holding the linoleum on it! Woke all the people next door up trying to unlock it. Easy to get to from airport, though - but would not want to pay any more than I did for the service and facilities.
