Clean facilities.close to the CBD. recommended

I have been in over 200 hostels across the world and this is easily the worst one. Unclean, very rude staff, our food got thrown away right after preparing it without an apology, cleaning lady very rude to customers, charged us 20 euro for checking out 5min late, location not near any nightlife areas (40min walk),no kitchen tools, cold showers, dirty halls and rooms, very nosiy floor. Only good thing were the fun and interesting guests who also made a mistake in giving them a chance.

Friendly hostel with good staff who offer you a free drink upon arrival. Decent beds and not too far from the city centre

More like a hotel than a hostel. Clean, quiet, good location. Staff was great. Not a party hostel. I recommend it to couples or groups.

Very good hostel. The location was great and the staff was very helpfull. The hostel was very clean (one of the cleanest i've been) and the dorm was spacefull. The place to stay in bratislava.

It was a bit tricky to find, but the location was good (very quick to walk downtown - 10 minutes or so and very walkable to the castle). The staff were helpful and answered my many questions, and were able to recommend a good place to try Slovakian food.

Amazing hostel! We didn't have any problems arriving due to the awesome directions they posted. Once we arrived we were able to check in, there is wifi all over the building! We also got complimentary beer/water upon arrival. The staff is friendly and they know where the best food is for cheap price.

Definitely a party hostel. Nice rooms and very clean, however it could be very noisy at night and as staff are on 24 hours they really should try to keep the noise to a minimum. The room was nice and well equipped with lockers and plug sockets. The wifi wasn't great but free beer and water on arrival was nice. Probably not for you if you want a good night's sleep though.

Awesome, chill place, close to everything. Lightning fast internet. Clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Only downside is the patio closes at 10pm because the neighbours complain.

Very close that we walked everywhere. Great directions from airport/bus stations. The view wasn't great but we were out all day that it didn't matter

Great hostel. Offered everything you could want at a Hostel. The best part was the free access to the computers which allowed us to book some upcoming things on our trip.

Although the hostel is centrally located, it is set back off the pavement and can be a bit daunting walking through at night particularly as there are ongoing building works. The rooms are light and spacious. While two beds were comfortable, one mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Free washing was handy but very busy. Would recommend the walking tour.

The staff should be more welcoming and happy. A place within the hostel to get food would be a nice improvement. Age dedicated rooms would also be beneficial. I had an older man in my room and he was pretty creepy.

Great location, easy 10 minutw walk to bus station. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms (you may have to wait a bit at peak times) kitchens small but workable, free tea and coffee is nice, free laundry though is great! (You pay for detergent) Also a free beer on arrival, overall a pleasant stay.

maybe the security would need to be increased as they give a bracelet as guest's identification, but not really check it when someone enter the building

Patio Hostel is great, on foot you can reach the Old Town of Bratislava in about 10 minutes. 5 minutes away there is a tram stop that goes directly to the central station of Bratislava. The hostel is great, Internet is fast enough, they offer free laundry but they only have 2 washing machines and 2 dryers so most of the times you need to wait for hours to get your laundry done. For washing powder you pay 1,50 Euro or you buy your own at a market.

I mean they give you a free beer when you check in.

Definitely i will recommend this hostel to the other traveler. It is near to the center, has a lot of bike for rent, washing machine for free, and etc. The staffs really helpful and friendly. But please fix the problem with the internet connection, I have stayed for three days, almost everyday they had internet problem.
