Great location, with ensuite bathrooms for those in smaller rooms. Can be noisy - (nezt to bagla road) so if you are looking for a peaceful night this may not be a wise choice.

Floor is not clean. My feet is full of dust Toilet is not clean. No locker to secure our important belongings. The wifi is not free so i pay for it but the connection is not good at all so I wasted my money for nothing. The staff at night (male) is not friendly and very rude. I read many bad comments before I booked here but I still opted to go and stay but everyone who commented not good about the hostel were correct. I should have listen to them.

Loved the staff here, they were so friendly and welcoming, and a really good laugh! It's close to the beach and nightlife, but quiet enough to sleep well. Awesome communal area, really chilled and easy to meet people. Will go back, loved it! Xx

Great staff. I enjoyed my stay and will come back. They were particularly helpful in tours and bus tickets at no extra cost if i bought them myself at the station or office.

It was my first time in Thailand doing backpacking and I was lucky to have picked to stay at Patong Backpacker. I think that the location is excellent. It was near the Patong Beach and Bangla Street. Although most merchandise is a little bit expensive, there are a lot of facilities and shops nearby which is very convenient for tourist. The people in Patong and staff in hostel is also friendly and nice. They made me feel welcomed.

The hotel staff is not supportive. Also the night staff is rude. Air conditioning in the ensuite rooms are worthless as they don't cool the room unless one doesn't switch them on for 12 hrs continuously. The common room is nice. The toilets donot have ventilation. More effort should be put towards customer care.

They did not have my reservation, I had to show them the e-mail in order to give me a room. As expected, my bed was not ready and the guy "cleaned" the bed with his hand right in front of me. The wi-fi was down, too.

I arrived late, to a man behind reception who clearly wasn't interested in being there or helping anyone! On my arrival there was no running water in the hostel so i was unable to shower or do my teeth and when i asked about it i was told there might be some in two hours. In addition the bathroom door was rotted away at the bottom and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. When i got into my bunk which was on the top it was really creaky and felt very unstable and it was also full of sand!!

Great location, a very friendly atmosphere - a good place to meet people. Rooms were simple (as you would expect) but clean, facilities were clean. Would recommend for sure

The staff are really not nice and not helpful. The wifi is not free either. When I asked the boss of this hostel about booking of the taxi to go back to the airport, he tried to make us buy his own product which was 1000baht for one little taxi. He said this is the normal price even if you book it outside. You can find a better taxi outside for only600~800baht, don't let him trick you. When you get sick and lying in the bed, the boss will come inside make you buy expensive meals.Be careful

All in all I had a good stay here. The lady in reception was very polite and helpful, helped me book tours and told me the best places to eat. Helped me to book in and always remembered my name. Nice comunal area were in was easy to meet people, few minutes walk from the main strip in pa tong but not too close so you manged to sleep at night.
