There is a rude desk employee. He made the entire experience unpleasant. The rest of the hostel mediocre.

We were going to stay 1 night, ended up staying 3! The staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was so good & always something to get invoved in every night. Exceeded my expectations, made my first week in south america so much easier :)

a very nice and clean hostel, the staff is really helpfull with everything. Excursions, bus tickets next destinations. i will definitely recommend this hostel to everybody. Especially the little curtains for the bunk beds are amazing. And it has a really nice breakfast as well. Thanks for everything!

Great hostel with fantastic staff. Best value for money in Argentina. The breakfast is the best I have had in south america, and is available until 12! Would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved Pax Hostel from the minute we got in to the minute we left. Great staff, great location, great atmosphere!!! the only down side is that woke up wiv bites all over my body. All the rest, just perfect!!!!

Loved everything about pax hostel! Spent one night away and wanted to come back! Friendly staff who are happy to help. Warm clean showers, nice breakfast daily. Felt like home. Highly reccomended and definitely going back. Thanks Pax

Great hostel, great atmosphere. A small cozy place with a cool common area, that make it easy to meet new people. Made by travellers for travellers I'm here for a long stay and i'm totally happy with my choice.

I loved pax hostel!!! It's really the best hostel ive stayed at in all my travels!! The staff is amazing and super friendly!! I felt like I was home! Location is good. Close to everything but the best thing is the people i met and the memories I made at this hostel!! I'll def go back next time I'm in Argentina!!

Everything was ok. One of the best hostels we ever stayed. Close to famous attractions , bus and metro stops,breakfast was great. The best thing in hostel-STUFF. They were always ready to help you. We got answers to all our questions and even more :-) P.S. Just a small minus-bear was double price like in the shop and you are not allowed to brig it from the outside. That was bit to much :-(

Very nice atmosphere, we met nice people and the staff is great. VEry nice location because its super central. Good mixture of people (party and sightseeing-people) or both. Matresses are awesome. Check out at 10 is early 11 would be better. But well...Breakfast is awesome and until 12. would come back 4 sure

Overall a good hostel and excellent value for money. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm that was a bit cramped but ok. Location is good, very central. Staff are really friendly and very helpful, and breakfast is excellent and until 12:00 which is unusual! I´d definitely recommend this to travellers on a budget.

Good hostel with extremely helpful staff - made our stay much easier with help with bus tickets and recommendations for restaurants etc. Would recommend.

Pax hostel is situated at a street with heavy traffic. The double rooms to the street are horrible to sleep in. Nevertheless the rooms were very nice and had the charm of Buenos Aires. The bathing rooms and toilets were cleaned only once a day which might be average for a hostel but in that very case it was gross. Hostel is perfect for young guys who want to make party and do not care about hostel itself. The hostels surrounding district was very poor.

Dirty cheap, no kitchen but good value for the price.

The bathroom facilities were clean-ish but quite run down, the room was small, but the staff were quite helpful with getting around town. It's not somewhere I'd want to stay for more than a night or so.

Great staff, very helpful with everything, mixed nicely with guests. It was unfortunate to be there in low season, it seemed to be such a great place to be with all the high season activities.

Lots of info on tours and help with booking buses etc. Each bed in the dorm has its own locker under the bed which was good. Always stuff happening in the evenings too if you want to socialize. Very helpful staff.

To be honest the best part about this hostel is the staff. I stayed in a double bed superior room and that was very very nice. That being said the showers are very average and the kitchen is pretty much non-existent. The worst part about this hostel is the location. My girlfriend felt unsafe walking around by herself during the day and wouldnt dare step outside during the night. Locals told us that it was not a very safe area to stay. That being said nothing bad happened to us or anyone I met.
