The heater is behind the courtains, don't miss it. The night of the 3rd two men arrived drunk two their room at 4am and started to yell and make huge noises as if they were trying to break their bed. We could hear them from our room and it was damn scary, iftwas even unsafe to come downstairs to tell reception.

The location is amazing and the staff is awesome. The common area is more like a bar after 6pm. I stayed here a week, it was my first hostel stay. For the money that you pay per night, it is not bad.

The hostel and bar staff have been very kind and helpful. near a very comfortable metro station. not very pleasant to check in at night when bar is full. (Hostel entrance through bar).

The room I stayed in was awful.. I am aware that it is a 13 bed room but someone may clean it sometime.. There were 12 people with me and the room was airless.. I am not sure whether I even saw a window.. And if you arrive in the hostel late, you have to take the bed at top since all the others are full.. and you have to sleep in a place which is less than 50 cm to the ceiling.. I didn't even see a bathroom.. toilet was even smaller than 1 m2.. worst hostel experience ever..

For travelers is very important to have internet access all day, in this hostel you have access just between 8:30 and 18:00, bad. We were in the floor number 6 and we had to go through the stairs one and another time; for persons with physical problems is not recommended at all. The kitchen was a little small, but it was relatively good. It is located far from the main attractions of the city, but at least is next to a metro station, that was good.

The hostel had a good location, near Gare du Nord (main train station) and two metro stops. The kitchen wasn't well equiped, and was in the basement, down the bar (which worked as dining room and in which anybody could get in, even some weird people who stalked some girls). Our room was in floor seven, all the way up the stairs (no elevator, 121 dangerous steps.) Staff, excepting the early morning guy, wasn't helpful at all, even unfriendly. The room was TINY. Really not worth the money we paid

The lack of age restriction was uncomfortable when I roomed with a 60+ eccentric man.

Great to meet like minded party goers. Bathrooms are clean enough (only 1 per 14 bed room, but 1 outside the room as well), kitchen is small but satisfactory. Milan the bartender is an awesome bloke. Things to note: LOTS of stairs! No security at all (rooms are not locked - although there is a safe in the reception for valuables but it seems to be often left open & unattended). No lockout, and 24 hour reception are a huge positive. Staff super friendly. Not for everyone, but I would stay again.

Their description says they are only 10 minutes from Gare du Nord but it's at least 20 walking. No elevator - be prepared to walk up 7 flights of stairs to get to your room. The wi-fi doesn't reach the rooms so don't count on using that unless you want to walk down to the bar. Also, in the year of our Lord 2011, they are possibly the only business in the world that doesn't take credit/debit cards so make sure you bring cash when you check in. It's really far from everything.

Wonderful place with amazing atmosphere for young and active people! Great location, very easy to find even for those who're the first time in the city - it's just one step from metro, very close to Gare du Nord. Neat, quite inexpensive, good facilities - best place for its price! I will recommend it to anyone and will definitely come back myself =)

They could offer breakfast, cuz for this price most hostels offer breakfast included... And TOO MANY stairs... i was in bedroom 18 and i needed to go almost in the top of the Eiffel tower to "reach" my bedroom... But the hostel is nice... I recommend anyway... =)

Lacation is very convenience. Very close to the metro station Jaures. There is free Wifi, but you can use it ONLY from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Otherwise you need to buy a internet card. Bathroom with WC is located in the room (with 14 beds). The bathroom is crowded every mornings. Ground floor is the bar opened till 2 a.m. Loud music comes from the bar to your room! And, ambulance and crossing are very close to the hostel. I couldn't sleep well during my stay. Kitchen is downstairs and closed at 2 a.m.

Room smelled really bad. The location of showers was very odd. I really did not like not having access to wifi in room.
