My brother and I booked together so we would be in the same room, but we got split up anyway. The walk up the spiral staircase is excruciating and the shower is ridiculously small -- I'm not a huge guy, but I couldn't get into the shower without rubbing up against the door, and it's nearly impossible to bend down and pick something up in there. I did, however, appricaite the view out the open windows from my room.

location and the staff was very nice. Also we can stay 1 room with only our friends, so we don't care about security this time though... each room has only one key is not convenient I feel. But around that place was so noisy. we couldn't sleep well.

it was a nice little hostel in a friendly atmosphere. it was really easy to get to all the hotspots in Paris with the metro, so we had a great weekend there !

I don't really recommend staying in this hostel, as I have stayed in many a nicer hostel than this. It was a bit dirty, hard to get to your room up a narrow spiral staircase with your suitcase, and tiny shower in the room. Tiny toilet/bathroom down the staircase. WAS really nice having a kitchen to use, and fridge, saved on meals out. The staff always greeted me by name which was also nice. So I recommend it if there isn't availablity at another hostel. Try St Christophers for a nicer place

Really small bathroom (couldn\'t put my arms up during the shower), squeaky bunkbeds and absence of lockers are some of the problems that you can find in this hostel. However, they are very close to a subway station, have a very friendly staff and are reeeeally cheap for Paris.

The hostel was a really good stay for people looking to socialise and meet other travelers. The ground-floor bar was a great place to meet everyone and have a drink the evenings, and the bartender/owner was great at ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere (not to mention generous with the drink). The rooms themselves are what you would expect of a 14-bed dorm- slightly cramped- but were clean and comfortable. The showering facilities were also good.

It was a clean place to sleep, the rooms and showers offered little privacy but they were clean. The staff were super friendly and the bar downstairs was a great place to hang out.

The room was the size of a closer. Expected more for the price but then again we only use the room for sleep. Not bad for one night. you have to give your room key back every time you leave the hostel so it's not very secure.

Room was as hot a sauna, no security, 3 tier bunkbeds, too crowded and no area to chill out to have a drink that you've bought from the shop. There's a bar downstairs but it's too noisy and prices are much more expensive than what you'd pay for a carry out.

I was very disapointed with this hostel. The rooms don\'t have enough space for the people in it and the showers are almost impossible to go in (they\'re really small). For me the worst thing was that you have to climb a huge ladder (I was in the last floor so it was very difficult every time). The location wasn\'t exactly good either, if you\'re planning to visit the touristy places easily this is not your place. The staff was ok, helpful and polite, the bar under it is very nice and confortable.

We weren't told ahead of time that we had to pay the rest of our deposit in cash only; would've been nice to know that ahead of time. Our room wasn't clean before we got there and left a lot to be desired once it was "clean." The front door was wide open with no locked doors up to the room so it felt like anybody could just walk in and out of the hostel at all hours of the night. The area surrounding the hospital wasn't great, and heard sirens and people yelling all night long.

I think it is a good hostel for the price and the location. However, Wi-Fi in all rooms and a toilett where I can turn around would be advantageouse.

As an overnight stay between a plane and a train, it was a good hostel to stay in : conviniently situated close to a train station and the airport line, clean, no fuss... But i don't think i would advise it to people looking for a place to stay on holidays : no common room , the kitchen is a bit too small, minimal comfort in the bedrooms...
