Very nice hostel, I had a good stay here. I like location as well, I would easily go again in this hostel! They have a good all you can eat -breakfast, it's little bit expensive (5,90e) but good value for money if you are really hungry.

Really nice hostel, staffs are friendly and rooms are clean. Well located, about 20 minutes by walk from Alexenderplatz and 5 minutes by metro. Sometimes, washrooms are not really clean and the showers are small. The wifi isn't accessible from the room, you have to go in the cafe downstair.

Great hostel! The best i've seen in awhile, and the cheapest! Located within a 5 min walk of the Berlin wall, a major train station, beer gardens and a very cheap grocery store, it was perfect for my group (all university students). The room was absurdly huge (no exaggeration!), we had our own shower and toilet in the room (it was a 10 bed dorm room) which was spotless. The entire hostel was kept really clean (again, no exaggeration, this place was spotless!). Definitely recommended!

This hostel has the most friendly and helpful staff I've met so far. Very knowledgeable about the city and they gave good recommendations on places to visit too. The facilities were a little old and run-down, e.g. some of the showers had drainage problems. The dark corridors may seem creepy at first but there are light switches along the way. Dorms were very dusty and sandy (especially the floors), so was the luggage room which caused quite some damage to my suitcase.

one more mirror in the room would be nice. When 3 girls are travelling together and there is only one mirror it gets busy :)

There is written on the website that the hostel has kitchen and free internet access.I had chosen this hostel due to its kitchen but when I arrived the hostel there were neither kitchen nor internet access. They said that there was a repair.Maybe my timing was wrong but they should have stated that there is a repair so the kitchen is out of service.the hostel is very big so there are too much people, there are also many teenagers. However the staff is very helpful.the photos are misleading.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hello, Thank you for your stay at Pegasus and your review. You are right. Unfortunatally there was a repair in our guest kitchen for 3-4 days but know we have a bigger guest kitchen for your use. And we are very sorry because of the problem with internet access. There is a free internet terminal with five computers and free WLAN in whole hostel. Maybe the WLAN connection in your room was not strong enough. It would be better if you could try to use WLAN in other areas or ask the reception to change your room. Kind regards Pegasus Team

That toilet and shower were very clean, but the wifi was out of order, which was very important to me. I was not provided a key for the locker in the room because the staff said some keys were not returned. This problem could be solved by requiring a deposit. The top sheet was starched and stiff so it made a lot of noise and, the sheet on the mattress was made from rubbery material, which made turning in bed difficult. All in all, the value of the money was excellent.

There was no internet for the majority of my stay and when there was it was extremely slow and barely usable. I was supposed to be in a mixed dorm but for some reason they had only males in a ten person mixed dorm. I'm not sure if the hostel was intentionally splitting up the guys and girls.

There's one shower in each room, which in theory is nice. But it gets very wet and dirty very easily and you run the risk of disturbing other guests. Watch out for some of the people who stay here. I stayed in a mixed dorm as I always do to save money, but there were some rough looking guys in my room including one who began screaming at me early one morning when I had to catch a train. Apparently he didn't understand the concept of hostels. Location is fine if you don't mind the metro.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Short walk to subway or bus stops and to the main square. Breakfast buffet is overpriced, but I still purchased it out of convenience. The bed was comfortable and there was a bathroom in our mixed dorm as well as extra toilets on each floor. The shower didn't drain and they fixed it right away when I notified them. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent hostel for the price!

I really liked my stay at Pegasus. The only thing I would recommend you to do is to encourage the other customers to use the kitchen and wash the dishes afterwards or maybe your staff could be taking care of the cleanliness of the kitchen.

the hostel is ok, staff is friendly and helpful (especially if you speak spanish LOL), the rooms are really ok, room card keys are useful! the only thing bad is the kitchen, it\'s tiny and has very few glasses and virtually no silverware... only one pan and sometimes it gets really crowded when people are waiting for their turn to cook. common room should have more tables and chairs, but besides that it\'s ok!

Well located hostel but with 2 importants defects, they don\'t clean the floor and there is just one little kitchen for a lot of people in the hostel (so not a lot of plates, pans, etc.). Nevertheless, the staff is nice !
