The hostel is at a great location with its unique atmosphere. I love especially the lily at the entrance. But the towel provided smell bad that I have to shower myself again after wiping with those towels.

I stayed 4 nights in the hostel. It soooooo nice. So clean, so beautiful and in such a nice location. But the stuff gave me most of the time the feeling that there are more busy in the restaurant stuff then in the hostel stuff. The food in the restaurant is good but way to expensive for that what you get. But a nice street in in front of the hostel with a lots of shops makes everything better. But really the best hostel I ever saw. Every next time I`ll go to Beijing, I`ll go to this hostel.

I was amazingly disappointed with this hostel. There was no atmosphere here, they seemed more occupied with tending to their cafe customers than to their actually guests, and I was once told that I couldn't sit in their cafe as I was on my own and would be taking up space at a table! The staff were rude and unhelpful. They seemed irritated when I had gone to the wrong address (something almost everyone I spoken to had done) and were unwilling to help when I needed to find the new address.

Beautiful hostel with friendly staff and in a great area. A little more expensive than some of the other places we looked at but it is worth it.

We had a wonderful stay! I liked that there were several gathering spots, the downstairs restaurant and the rooftop restaurant were both lovely. I would definitely recommend this hostel to friends.

Fantastic hostel! Squeaky-clean in a very nice setting. Fresh flowers were a welcome respite from the dusty Beijing streets. Staff were very helpful and the coffee in the bar was excellent! There were a few cons, but they were so very minor: No hot/cold water cooler for drinks (although bar staff were happy to help), and there was no affordable option to hire towels (can only purchase them for 30RMB), ant it was a bit of a walk to thenearest metro. I loved this place, would stay again anytime.

The location is perfect, however it is quite likely you get lost. We got a map from the hotel, where still the old location of the hotel was marked. The people are okay... The terrace is nice. Just an average hostel, but on a good location. The double room looks very nice and big...

Waiters have to learn English!! This is critical given the global travellers staying in this hostel. Lucie and her morning colleague were very kind and helpful.

Fantastic place, friendly staff, great location, rooms and facilities were great (best showers I've ever seen in a hostel), and good food and drinks! All around one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!

Very friendly and helpful staff, well speaking English. The hostel is very well located, except that it is difficult to order taxi directly to the door of the hostel. The hostel is cozy and the atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend to stay at Peking Youth Hostel!

A very pleasant environment with flowers and plants - you feel welcome right from start. Though challenged in the english language the staff was very eager to help.

Lovely hostel, great dorm. It's a shame there aren't more areas just for the hostel guests though. Ít's easier to meet other travellers that way, without having to worry that you're randomly speaking to a restaurant/bar guest. Also the restaurant is quite expensive.

The staff is very friendly. They help me a lot and I really appreciate what they did. The cleanliness is awesome, another thing I really consider important. To finish the place is very cute always filling up with flowers and a very relaxing good atmosphere.

Was initially put out because the location had been changed without informing me, and I was quite angry about this. However, now I feel bad even mentioning this, as the service, location, and atmosphere of the place were fantastic. Located on Nan Luogu Xiang, close to several bus routes and the airport express, it couldn't have been more convenient. Free wifi, and a beautiful rooftop garden. Lovely hot showers, and lockers in the dorms. I had an extremely comfortable stay.

This hostel was slightly higher priced than other hostels but it was great. It is in the most famous of the Huntongs in Beijing and a short bus ride or half hour walk to the Forbidden City. The staff are all young with varying degrees of English but there was always someone on with good English to sort out any issues. The common areas are comfortable and attractive with stressed wooden tables and chairs and some sofas. The areas are filled with beautiful baskets of flowers and potted plants.

Definitely enjoyed our stay there! Staff is nice, helpful and speaks good English. The common area (and the rooftop) is amazing, with flowers everywhere, perfect to have a rest in the evening. The room was of good size and very clean. The only drawback is maybe the distance to the closest subway station (15-20 min walking), but taxi are cheap in Beijing and Nan Luo Gu Xiang is a nice street. Hiking tour to the Great Wall offered by the hostel was awesome.

I had a wonderful experience at Peking International Youth hostel. I was initially worried when I was told that the hostel had been relocated due to building work but I needn't have. Nan luo gu xiang was an ideal location, being reasonably close to the airport express bus and subway stations. The staff at the hostel were friendly, helpful and well organised. All trips or performances arranged through the hostel were enjoyable and well organised. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
