We had some problems to enter at Pelayo Studios because there was nobody at the hostel when we arrived. I had to call and wait for 20 minutes util someone arrive. And this happened during the time thay said the hostel would be opened. The room is small and the towels were humid when we arrived, but they were clean. fortunatelly. The location is really good. It's besides the metro station and Las Ramblas. I walked around the entire city and that was amazing.

i live in a twin room with my friend, everythings was nice, except the bathroom always leaking. if you just looking for a room can sleep sliencely, if would be a good choice. they have everythings, hairdryer, kettle, towel, shower gel. Only one thing need to consider, the room is a bit small for us.

I went to this hostel with my boyfriend for a 4 nights stay. location: the only good thing about this hostel was the location. it is very close to the main street "La Rambla' (about 4 minutes walk). Atmosphere: The hostel is really poor, there is no life on it. The staff was VERY NOT HELPFUL. The reception guy wanted to charge us for extra half day because we were late at the check out for 30 mins! Value: the hostel doesn't serve any breakfast and it is very expensive and not clear!!!!!

The location is great, right of the La Rambla, close to the metro... Our room had a bunk bed, but we both stayed on the lower bed as it was quite wide. Booked a room with a shared bathroom, but we don't think anyone used the bathroom but us! So it was like having our own bathroom! The room was a bit shabby, but clean and nice. Great wi-fi, included in the price and fast! Great value for money IMO, especially for the location!

Although basic, the room was clean and good enough for the one night that we were their. Reception was very good and spoke english very well.

location is a plus, short walking distance to the La ramblas street, the staff was very kind and helpful. The toilet was clean, new towels everyday. The air conditioner was quite dusty, it is better to clean it... there is no common room in the hostel, which is not good for socialization, no kitchen for the private studio, so we have to eat outside everyday. NOTE, we have to pay 10% tax separately, this should be stated in the hostel information. Overall, a good hostel for short stay....
