Great value for money

The rooms and bathrooms are very poor. Too much dust, the water is salty, we kill two cockroaches beneath our beds, the doors of the common showers don't lock. But if you just don't care about those things, well, they offer all the trips and transfers you will need with good prices, the location couldn't be better and their restaurant by the ocean is pretty good. Don't forget to ask them what is not included in the trip they offer!

My accommodation is free since I dive with the hostel. The restaurant has a really good environment, but there are better choices in Dahab. If the weather is hot, many mosquitoes will appear in non-AC rooms, so bring your spray when you go! The tap water is a bit salty. The staff are generally fine, the diving guide I got was professional. The wifi does not work well in the room. Overall a very good value for money.

Our blankets had bugs in that bit us. The communal toilets and showers not to clean and was not working propperly.

It's a nice, friendly place. Cheap so I didn't expect luxury. But they defenitely need to change locks in the doors - everyone was struggling with them. it took a minimum of 3 minutes to unlock the door or take the key out of the lock. the rest was fine.

Great hostel! Cheapest dorms in town, great location in dahab, in front of the beach and the main town/ market is just behind. Excellent, honest staff - they can arrange everything for you & were very helpfull. Would recommend to anybody

the food at the restaurant wasnt to good and overpriced for the taste......but the hotel was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not overly impressed with Penguin. The setup is great, but the staff continually gave me inconsistent prices for tours and equipment hire, were not very knowledgeable about onward travel from Dahab, and came into our dorm rooms at 8:30AM to clean (before check-out). The WiFi also rarely worked, which the staff seemed non-plussed about. If the staff didn't have such bad attitudes, this place could be okay. Will stay elsewhere next time.

I M ARRIVED AT 6 A.M. AND MY CHECKING TIME WAS AT 12...i was tired after a trip by bus from Cairo SO I PAID 1 DAY EXTRA. I did few dive with three different guide, anyone war really professional and good, like the stafff :-). I did also a trip to S. Caterina for a good price like 100 than other agency ask for more. Don t forget if you dive you have free dorms...maybe not me!! the last day i paid from them 170 bus reservation and the taxi dr leave me to b.s. 1 h e 15 before and would 5 more n.n.
