This is not really a hostel its like 2 apartments one on each floor. I loved the feel of being in an apartment, had a kitchen living room 2 bathrooms felt like being at home. walking distance to beach shops restaurants. Great place! Surfing equipment was easy to hire from the guy who owns the hostel/appartment. Great waves too! This is not really a hostel its like 2 apartments one on each floor. i stayed in the apartment behind the beach it was good but joul or whaterer his name is has a funny way of doing things. but it all worked out fine. but to many (i got cencored but iŽm sure you inderstand)

There are 3 private rooms in one apartment so there could be up to 6 people sharing one shower, two bathrooms, a livingroom and the kitchen. We were very lucky that we had the apartment all to ourselves so we had a good time there anyway. First of all ther's no reception at the Beach House hostel so you have go to Peniche Surf&Kite Center to check-in. Secondly the hostel is perfect for those who like socialising with other hostel users. If you're rather a peace-looking person just don't book anything in advance but go near the Turistic Information in the old town center - there you have plenty of old nice ladies who will rent you a room for a negociable price of 55-70% of the price you have to pay in Peniche Beach House.First of all ther's no reception at the Beach House hostel so you have go to Peniche Surf&Kite Center to check-in. Bad things were that this hostel was quite hidden, it's near to the beach though... And The building is a normal flat, not an own special house. It isn't very flattering from the outside. But, the good sides are that it's very clean, neat, beautifully designed from the inside. And the big, clean bathrooms were a plus. Though, the shower gave only cold water upstairs but luckily downstairs there was warm water :)Bad things were that this hostel was quite hidden, it's near to the beach though... The best value Išve gotten for a hostel. For 15? a night, we got a private double in a new apartment. Big, modern kitchen. Big, comfy living room. A huge deck to sit around on, and a BBQ. Location is 100m from the beach, and 200m from the surf center for rentals. Supermarket is nearby. Quite clean.The best value Išve gotten for a hostel.
