Myself and my partner stayed here it was fantastic for us, it had great security, wi-fi, air-con, very clean and the staff were friendly the only down side to it was the location we had to get taxis to the main party area but it was a blessing in disguise as we slept very well !
the staff was very nice and helpful with information and tips about local stuff. we also made a mistake booking the room a day earlier than we arrived, but they immediately changed it as i wrote them an email. thanks again. :)
We only stayed one night but it was very pleasant. We managed to check in over 3 hours early which was a result. Friendly staff, big place, took us awhile to find as the map online wasn't correct. Big clean rooms, clean bathroom. Good place to stay for one or two nights. Location was good too, just a short walk to the main strip
the staff were amazing, really friendly and helpful although not a place to stay if you want to meet other backpackers.
We enjoyed our stay as it was good value for money and in a perfect location close to many places we wanted to visit. We stayed in a double room with an en-suite. Pros: -Location (close to Khao San Road and surrounding area and 25min walk to Grand Palace) - Helpful reception staff - possibility to book trips and airport bus for 150 TB - Large clean room with good shower and big windows - Cleaning everyday - Good AC - Free computers to use Cons: - Atmosphere was fairly quiet - Wifi poor
Room was nice, great location for those who like a little quiet within the Bangkok-buzz. Also, there's private parking for those with their own transportation. The shared bathrooms could have been better. Shower cabins are small and don't have hooks for clothing (so actually nowhere to keep your clothes/towel dry). And if it's a cheap private room you're looking for, there are plenty of private ac ensuite rooms in the area for around 450 baht.
Perfect location, near by KhoaSan Road. We stayed in the cheapest rooms, wich had a ven to cool down. Beds were realy comfi. Bathroom was okay and clean. Downstairs the staff was helpfull with showing the directions. It was also possible to book a tour, with their 'touroffice'. Note for taking a taxi in Bangkok: follow the route with your phone, a lot of drivers didn't took the shortcut. But when you show them your awerness, all of the sudden, they changes into shortcut ;)
It is a basic accomodation, very clean rooms. Nice and quiet area, still close enough to the centre.

The private room for one person is excellent value for money at around 330 baht, I couldn't find anywhere cheaper to stay in the khao San area. The room itself was basic but very clean and quiet at night. Penpark is close to the big tourist attractions in downtown Bangkok and very close to the pier for easy access to the BTS/metro. Wifi signal was great and staff were friendly. I would definitely stay here again!
