I was happy with the location and the staff seemed nice - but other than that there was a really bad smell in the rooms and the shared toilet is actually a shared bathroom so it was inconvenient - the thing that annoyed me the most was that while we were out in the morning they had gone into our room even though we said we didn't want the room touched until we check out so no respect for privacy is a big no no in my book.

We had a great stay in the hostel. The staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful, eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was big and nicely decorated, the bathrooms were always clean, too. The only thing you need to be aware of is that the hostel is located on the third floor of an old building so there are some stairs involved. I'd happily come back next time i'm in lisbon.

The location is great, the owner and workers are very nice and helpful. I think it's great for young people who just need some place to sleep and rest.

The perfect hostel for a cheap couples city break. Not a party hostel but perfect location, great rooms, simple breakfast and excellent hosts - extremely welcoming and advised us on the best sites to visit in Lisbon!

Staff were so cute and friendly..helpful and good English.. The decor was really cute and made you feel at home..even though bathroom is shared, it's the cleanest I've seen in all shared bathrooms in hostels across Europe.. Breakfast is offered and was a good way to start the day.. Highly recommended! :)

Good, clean and safe. . However there are four flights of stairs to climb up and down with no lift. With the central location it can get a little noisy.. Generally veey happy with hostel

Lovely stay, staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for anyone unless you are looking to meet new people or go out to clubs as there is not a big social area.

It's a nice place to stay for a few nights, clean, the location is perfect, and the price is really good. However, the staff didn't really speak english, and communication was not so smooth. But with some communication skills, you can manage i'm sure:)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, directly in the city center between Rossio and Praca do Comercio, all major sights can be reached easily. The rooms are very nice and have a distinct charm as the hostel is located in a quite old building. There is actually nothing one could complain about - great value for money!

Pensão Bom Conforto is a very nice hostel! Since my friend and I have not prepared too much before we set off to Lisbon, we asked the staff a lot of quedtions about the transport of the tourism spots. They were very helpful and even willing to prepare early breakfast for us. The enviroment of the hostel is comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is simple, but is enough for an early morning. Everything is fine there! My friend and I decide to book that hostel again when we visit Lisbon agian~

I did not stay at this Hostel because there was not enough space. They contacted me and sent me to another Hostel with the same owner. The staff was great and helpful. They were both really nice. The Hostel was close to plazas and stores. The only bad thing was that the room was cold at night because the heater we had wasn't enough.
