It is a lovely centric guests' house. The decoration makes you think that time has stopped in that place. The atmosphere is quite nice, a family-run bussiness.

This place is a perfect choice for those who are looking for a place were only to put your stuff, have a shower and some sleep. There is nothing really enjoyable in terms of modern design, although I kinda liked to take a short look at the antique stuff at the reception room. The stuff didn't speak any English, but they were very welcoming and helpful and somehow we managed to communicate. The place is very simple but everything was always clean and it is visible that the owners take a good care

Pensao França is in the heart of Porto, and you can reach everything easily. Is good for who want to go out the night and come back home without take a taxi and is good for go to visit all the attraction of this wanderful city. It's not a 5 stars hotel, but the relation price-quality is great. The staff is really welcoming and let you feel at home. Really suggest this place, and if I'll come back to Porto for sure I'll go there!! :)
