The room was quite small and claustrophobic inside the "attic" of the hotel with only one small window on the slanted ceiling that didn't have much light coming in .I was nervous I would hit my head on the low slanted ceiling if I stood upright and i'm not a very tall tall man either (5'7" or 173 cm tall)so you can gather how small it felt .Good location but quite noisy at night because it is across the street from the square, communication was difficult becausethe staff don't speak any English
They gave us the atic for a 4 people room, awfulllllllll
Good location, when I walked into my room I thought it was a joke; an attic room that I couldn't even stand up in. It was cheap though and overall it was a good stay. Only one bathroom for an entire floor, I laughed at that too.
Perfect location - right in the city center and very quiet at the same time. There is very nice restaurant just around the corner. Very clean room and the bathroom. Staff doesn't speak much English.
Very nice and clean place, worth being recommended!
I liked specific atmospehere of the hostel - as if you are staying at home of portuguese family: you can see kichen and all other rooms of the staff members (it is a family), and view how they live. My room (single) for such low price was OK. Since the breakfeast is not included in this hostel, thus, at least one thing which I needed was the facilities to make my coffee (hot water, cups). Well, the women kindly gave them to me, when I asked, but I would prefer to find them without asking.
it's really cheap and you get more that you should get for this price - this is a fact. but one thing we didn't like was that no room service was provided. we got out in the morning everyday and when we got back the room wasn't clean and no new towels were offered. once we had to ask at the reception for more toilet paper! this was definitely not good. but the double room with private bathroom is ok, the localization is amazing and was a great fun.
It is a lovely and authentic Portuguese hostel.

Great location and very well priced. I would recommend this place. Got a little hot without air conditioning during my june visit. Nobody at reception spoke english but they were friendly.
Very small room, very poor wifi, just good location and cheap.
even though the staff cannot speak English, they r till very friendly and helpful Really like it Fell like being home
First of all they dont speak in english, so it could be a problem. We asked if we could use kitchen they agreed, but after we bought food and came back to hostel they didnt even let us to use a microwave, so why to it was confusing. Atmosphere was strange and room facilities were average, but if you prefer living in city centre it should suit you for such price otherwise I would suggest to look for other place to stay.
