Dear Paula, Thanks a lot for everything. Your pension will always be our first address in Lisbon. We have really enjoyed your colourful place. We have learned quite a lot about Lisbon and its people from you, all things, which nobody will ever find in the usual travel guides. So, do not bother about missing elavators, just stick to your guiding principle: "You can only see well with your heart, the essential things are invisible for your eyes." Hope to see you soon again

Owner Paula is amazing! She was able to answer every question we made. Recommended places to visit, eat out and shop. Will definitely go back here next time I visit Lisbon. Brekkie was also really best I've ever had in a hostel. Cute colourful rooms. :)

It's the second time I stayed in Pensao Royal and it was as good as the other. The place is amazing, the attendants, the facilities, breakfast, decor... The only drawback is that there was a little smell of smoke in our room.

Paula is a lovely owner who makes your stay really nice. The Breakfast was excellent, it looks like a english high tea!!

It's an amazing little place right in the heart of Lisboa, Paula is an excellent hostess who will make your stay in her Pensão a lovely one. The breakfast is to die for, not even a 5 star hotel has this kind of food. All in all, I'd recommend this to everyone that can climb four floors, since the only drawback is that the building has no lift/elevator, so senior people beware, any other person COME right away! :)

Paula is amazing!!!! She made the trip. Lovely breakfast, really nice rooms and good advice about local bars, attractions and food. Best hostel I have stayed in.

Great pension in the heart of Lisbon, situated 50 m from the metro and near the Bairro Alto; from here you can visit the city by walk!Paula will welcome you in her colourful house full of butterflies and fairies: the room was good and very clean, the only thing that I didn't like so much is the bathroom which is a bit neglected compared to the rest of the room! In the morning there is a superb breakfast with tons of handmade cakes, fruits, yougurt, quiches and everything you need! Reccomended!

Nice, clean and great location. Fantastic breakfast!
