Sta Rita is actually two floors of an apartment building in the newer part of Santiago, 10 mins walk from the historic center. There is a nice bar/restaurant virtually next door, and several more if you are prepared to explore the adjoining streets. The hostel was spotlessly clean. My bedroom was a single, not huge, but more than adequate. The bed was comfortable, the hosts absolutely delightful. Couldn\'t do enough to help. Friendly and helpful staff, the location was great, but a bit difficult to discover at the street if you do not know where to look. My room smelled like old smoke, but everything else was very clean and tidy. You could easily hear things around the other apartments/rooms, but I was not bothered too much. The locker at the bathroom were a bit difficult. Generally, it was an ok place. You get what you pay for. I was just there to sleep and take a shower.
