Paolo and Idoia were great. Paolo gave us a terrific run down of the town on arrival and was very helpful with all our needs. Amazing place...definitely worth a visit!

Pension Aia has been the best place that I have stayed at on my travels this year. Paulo was an awesome and amazing person who helped with everything, he kept the place spotless and provided tea and coffee and cereal! Great location and very modern. Paulo's wife helped me get my suitcase fixed too. Overall I had a great stay here! I recommend this place without hesitation. If I'm back in San Sebastian I'll definitely be staying here :) awesome awesome awesome!

This was my third time to stay at Pension Aia and after a gap of two years it was great to see that they have expanded from five rooms to ten. Paulo and his wife could not be friendlier or more hospitable to guests and I thoroughly enjoyed my six night stay. My room was clean and quiet, with satellite TV for the rainy days, and the location near the surf beach is fantastic. My only quibble was the lack of wi-fi all week, seems they've been having problems with a new Internet provider.

This place was absolutely awesome, the owners Adoia and Pauolo are the sweetess people and provide great facilities. Everything was super clean, some breakfast food was included, and it was tastefully decorated! Very modern facilities with Wi-fi, we had a small shower and sink in our room, as well as our personal terrace! 10/10 recommend as the best hostel I have ever stayed in.

We had a lovely stay, Paulo and his wife were lovely. Kitchen facilities were very handy. Plenty of toilets and we had a shower and basin in our room. Location was great, very close to the beach. They booked us a tour of the cider house and gave us advice on how to get there (it's a bit out of town). Would definitely recommend this place.

This is a lovely place run by a wonderful couple. everything is well kept and very clean. They are very warm and welcoming and super helpful. The pension is located at walking distance from the beach. If you want to go to the center you have to walk more but its a wonderful beatiful walk from the beach to the city centre. I fully recommend this place! Thanks for making my stay a beatiful one.

Pension Aia was the best experience that I've ever had at a hostel OR hotel! We arrived and were shown to a gorgeous room and were immediately greeted by the owner who sat us down and gave us great recommendations for all sorts of places to see and things to do in San Sebastian. The hostel was spotlessly clean, had great wi-fi, a lovely and fully stocked kitchen, four beautiful bathrooms and best of all it was right on the beach. Paolo made us feel right at home, we didn't want to leave!

They're ideal hosts for a place like this! Cleanest shared bathrooms anywhere in the world. A wonderful stay. Muchas gracias!

Loved everything! I wish there was a small oven or a stove to allow the guests to cook- we made pasta in the microwave but it would have been nice to be able to use a stove!

If you plan to visit San Sebastian (Donostia), I can thoroughly recommend Pension Aia. It is located close to one of the three beaches and a short walk from the heart of the old town (about 10 minutes). The place itself has a fresh contemporary feel with the all the essential facilities required. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The kitchen, which you you can use throughout the day, is a place to chat with other guests and the staff a very helpful and obliging.
