The owner is so very nice! He is very caring and will help you out with anything you need. There are large lockers to hold your stuff, and the hostel has a very chill and laid back atmosphere. Wifi worked well! Location was great right near the old part of town (with all the restaurants and night life) and also very near a beautiful beach. The bathrooms were cleaned several times a day! Really fun place to stay I highly recommend!

Pension Amalur is a small cozy place, run by his owner. He is very hind and helpful and keeps the hostel very clean. There is no kitchen but there is some space for drinks and a fridge.

Great place, cosy and friendly, comfortable room in good location. Friendly owner Miguel gives you a good run down of what to do in the city and goes out of his way to help.

Really nice guy running it. Even though I had no Spanish and he no English, he still managed to communicate to me where all the main sights were and how to get to Biarritz on public transport. First night there was only me in the dorm room and the second just 2 others so I was delighted with it! Couldn't beat its location!

Excellent location, which is just 2 minutes away from La Concha beach. Miguel, the hostel owner, lives in the premises which may or may not be weird to some people (weird for me as I was the only one staying at the hostel at the time of my booking!) I think it is actually his apartment which was converted into a hostel. He didn't speak much English but a very nice guy and makes an effort to answer my questions. Anyway, great comfy beds and pillow. Very clean rooms though a bit cold.

I really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere of this hostel. The staff was truly nice, the common room is very cosy and the location couldn't be better (next to Playa de la Concha). And the mattresses are really good, very comfortable, I slept really well here!

The location is very good, close to the beach and the old town as well. Miguel is very helpful and nice. I basically explored the city with his advice and it was great. I had a very good time in the hostel and I will go back if I have the chance!

The guy didn't speak English very well but did a brilliant job explaining the town/ map to us. Great location. Very clean. Some of the best bunk beds we had.

Look no further in San Sebastian! This is the place! Short walk from the bus stop, central location, good security. Miguel is a great host! He's very knowledgeable and helpful. The place is warm and homey. Nice and cozy common areas. Comfortable beds, good showers, and towells are provided. I would definitely stay again!
