Pension Bicuar exceeded my expectations in every way. Nice building with great character, and Franck went out ofnhis way to make sure I enjoyed my stay in Olhao.

Great accomodation! The best of it is Jeff, the owner, soooooooooooo nice!! In the historic centre of the village, very close to the market and all transportations (ferry, train, bus...). It actually is in Olhao, 8 km from Faro but that's and advantage if you're going to the beach! The building has a lot of character and the terrace is veeeeery nice. Extremily clean. If I go back to the Algarve deffinately I will return to this pension.

This was by far the best B&B I've stayed in. The owners Jeff & Leonie were a delight, and the support staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable with excellent facilities, and the rooftop was exceptional, with a view of the ocean and fantastic sunsets. It is located close to the ferry and many restaurants and bars. Great value for money too. If I go back to Olhao, I would definitely stay there again!

Although I was under the impression this hostel was located in Faro, (my fault for not looking into it more clearly) when you get there it is actually a very charming town a short 30 min bus ride from Faro. It is good value for your money and the owners are very nice and helpful. It is not luxurious, but perfect for a short stay. Clean, good location within the city, and safe.

As before me - I TOTALLY enjoyed my visit here, and I came after reading the reviews. The owner and manager Jeff, was charming, friendly and very generous. I mistakenly booked a double bedroom for me and my friend instead of a twin bedroom, and Jeff gave us a dorm room (for 4 people) just for us both, and blocked it so it will stay only ours. He charged us for the (cheaper) dorm room and not for the more expensive twin room. That proved to me that this was no regular Hostel. HIGHLY recommended!

Love love loved this hostel. Jeff was so great and helpful and friendly, and the location was absolutely perfect. Ohlao would not have been the same without this place. The rooftop terrace was idyllic, and the room was very comfortable with a shower ensuite. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great time during our stay in the Pension Bicuar! The pension is very clean and nicely furnished. The owners are really nice and open which gives the hostel a family-like atmosphere. Another great plus is the lovely rooftop-terrace!

This was a fantastic hostel! Very clean and well-decorated, it was so charming and felt like authentic Portugal. And the receptionist, an Australian woman, was incredibly friendly, sweet, and helpful with whatever we needed and whatever questions we had. She was warm and accomodating, I would go back just so I could talk with her more. :)
