The location is really outside every touristic parts of Bilbao but it's quite close to the Metro-Station. It's not a nice location to walk outside at night but the rooms are really clean and nice.

Very nice young woman greeted us and made us feel at home. Good room, near transit. Only negative...sometimes no-one is at the desk (my key didn't work in the entrance door tho fortunately another guest came along & let me back in).

This Hostal is very difficult to reach. The directions were useless, as all information clerks simply refused to help me by saying they do not know the city in which this hostal is located is, I reached Bilbao at 22 hour at night. This was despairing. Once I found the right train to take and reached the train stop, again the direction was so poor that I spent another hour wandering the streets. If you do not speak Spanish, I do not recommend this hostal.

The hostel is not located in the city center, but it's quite well communicated by the city railway/metro system. Just 2 stops from the bus/train station (like 3 minutes) and few minutes more to the city center. Quiet area and safe so don't worry that's not the straight city center.

It's not a hostel, it's an one star pension and nothing else. The security is not good, the main floor door of the pension is always open and it's noisy, and at night there is nobody at the reception. Although you have the train nearby, it's 6 km away from the city centre. The area where is located is weird at least, almost every shop was closed and very few people in the street. The coffee is good, and there is free parking. Double glazing prevents noise from the trains.
