I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Pension Edelweiss. The room was gorgeous, the balcony was such a plus and the staff was extremely pleasant. Especially Kayla, who helped me out a lot, figuring out where to go, neighborhoods to see, and places to eat. I loved the feel and the atmosphere of the Pension and I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay in the charming Pension Edelweiss! Our hosts were very welcoming, and the room was homey and enchanting. We are only sorry we were not able to enjoy a meal at the Comptoir Dugommier, which was on break when we stayed. Otherwise, our stay was delightful.

Excellent location. Within a short walk from the train station. However the area where bnb is located may be a little unsavory. However as long as you are not back too late, it should be ok. We got a refund on breakfast since the bnb's restaurant was under renovation during our stay. Room was very quaint, with loads of antiques. Bathroom And toilet were separate. And kind of cramped. But there is another toilet out on the corridor.

We thought that we would have liked coffee facilities in the room rather than hallway as noise outside did interfere with sleep I'm afraid Loved the retro feel though

Bernadette and David were very welcoming and they gave us very good tips for eating and activities. The pension edelweiss is a perfect place for staying in marseille. I'll definitely come back. The breakfast at the comptoir du gommier next to the pension is very nice.

Very friendly. Pointed out some nice restaurants. The bed was confortable and the style of the room was very retro. We loved it. Breakfast on the first day: there was too little bread only 2 slices of tiny bread. Luckily we had cornflakes. The next day though, there was plenty of everything. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Given the cold weather the past weeks, I was glad that the room was warm and the heating on.

A really nice place, run by people who're clearly very passionate for what they do and concerned that everyone has a good time. The hostel is well thought-out and the decor is a nice combination of vintage/classic and modern. Breakfast, both at the sister restaurant and at the hostel itself, was great. Tips and advice from the owners were perfect and enhanced our stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here when you visit this underrated city.

This wonderful place exceeded all of our expectations. Decorated perfectly with a mix of vintage/deco/cool and beautiful antiques. Edelweiss very nearly made us consider changing the locks and staying on! Our lovely hosts were extremely warm and welcoming offering ideas on their favorite local spots. We loved our green room which has an attached terrace. The location was perfect right by Cours Julien making it possible walk home after a late night out. Can't imagine a better place.
