Property Information:
La pensión San José enjoys a useful central location just off the heart of Salamanca, the historic area of the city. Close to the 'Orellana Palace' the hostel is set between 'la Plaza Mayor' and 'The cathedrals' and has great views of 'La casa de las Conchas' that lead us to a street 'calle de la rúa Mayor' just right to the tourism office.
Most of monuments are close to the pension so it's possible to reach them with a stroll. This area is the Salamanca's centre tourist. It is home to many of the most significant sights but it is also where the best city's dining venues are. Restaurants, appealing cafés, crafts shops, typical bars and lively pubs retain much of the Salamanca character. So you can enjoy from all tourist area without having to use any public transport.
Salamanca is crowded with university students that give to this city a lively atmosphere with a buzzing nightlife. Despite of the buzzing the hostal remain peaceful because their bedrooms are overlooking to la Calle Jesus which is particulary quiet.

This was a great hostel for the money. The bathroom was not that well separated from the bedroom but other than that, it was just fine!
