Pension Kawtar was the least nice place I stayed during my three weeks in Morocco. First the positives: The location is good, on a quiet alley near the blue gate in the median, and the staff are friendly. The negatives: My single room was tiny with no window, and freezing cold despite the warm weather outside. The only lock was a tiny pad lock thru teeny eye bolts (not at all secure), the shared bathroom was dirt, small, again no window or TP. Lonely Planet should remove it's recommendation.

Nice traditional Moroccan house in a quiet little street close to Bab Boujloud, a good breakfast, and helpful friendly people :)
